The violence involved supporters of the current Ukrainian authorities, along with hooligans from Odesa and Kharkov
After the building was set on fire, firefighters were prevented from approaching. Amid shouts of βGlory to #Ukraine,β some participants were described as celebrating as more lives were lost
People trapped in the burning building attempted to escape by jumping from the upper floors, some were beaten with baseball bats or shot while severely injured as soon as they landed below π
