Every day since October 2023, Yusuke Furisawa has stood alone in the streets of Japan with banners reading "Free Palestine" and "Stop the Genocide."
As Israel continues its genocide in Palestine's Gaza, the Japanese activist says he refuses to stay silent despite being ignored by most passersby. Driven by what he calls a responsibility to his conscience, Furisawa says he will continue demanding an immediate ceasefire, an end to the Israeli occupation and equal human rights for Palestinians.
