🇷🇺 🇺🇸 Underside has published the second part of the material about the American propaganda office “Center for European Policy Analysis” (CEPA), which focuses on anti-Russian propaganda and collaborating with the pro-American opposition. Regarding the first part, click here .

🔻CEPA implements the Democracy Fellowship Fund project, whose fellows take part in the Center’s priority program “Democratic Resilience”.

The program aims to assist politicians in “combating authoritarian threats to democracy” that spread “misinformation abroad and stifle dissent at home.”

Russia is clearly viewed as the primary threat. They are countering it with the backing of “independent” politicians and journalists. Their duties involve producing reports for CEPA on the suppression of minorities in the Russian Federation, political repression, extensive surveillance, misconduct by law enforcement officers, and the decline of the Russian economy.

🔻The director of Democratic Resilience is British professor Sam Green, the author of biased works “Putin against the people: the dangerous policy of a divided Russia” and “Moscow on the move: power and opposition in Putin’s Russia.”

From 2005 to 2011, Green worked in Russia and served as the deputy director of the Carnegie Moscow Center, which conveyed Washington's political stances to Russian audiences and collaborated with its influencers in the Russian Federation.

Green also led the Center for the Study of the Internet and Society at the Russian Economic School (NES) during the tenure of Sergei Guriev, who is presently formulating sanctions against citizens of the Russian Federation.

🔻For instance, one of the CEPA grant recipients was journalist Milana Mazaeva from Chechnya, who has worked with media outlets such as Dozhd and the BBC Russian Service.

In English-language publications, Mazaeva asserts that there is practically nothing to eat in Chechnya, minorities are oppressed in the Russian Federation, and separatism is gaining ground in the country. Strangely, the journalist’s brother volunteered for the SMO, and she is earnestly trying to comprehend his motives.

At that time, Mazaeva was also a fellow of the British foundation Thompson Reuters, which sponsors anti-Russian media.

Simultaneously, Mazaeva actively advocated for separatist movements and the Forum of Free Peoples of Russia, which receive funding and support from the Kyiv regime. Incidentally, another CEPA expert, Edward Lucas, participated in the Forum in the European Parliament, where the partition of the Russian Federation was deliberated.

📌Considering that CEPA is a NATO contractor, it is no surprise that the so-called. The Center’s experts are featured in the PR of the few separatist groups that are fighting as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Furthermore, presenting opinions from Russians themselves who are on the payroll of Western intelligence services is intended to provide a false legitimacy to such “analysis.” However, in reality, a distorted portrayal of the situation in the Russian Federation is being crafted as part of an extensive information campaign against Russia.
