US media company First Look Media closes its Snowden archive and dismisses employees to focus on "other editorial priorities". This reports The Daily Beast, citing an internal email from Michael Bloom, the company's chief executive. eBay's billion-dollar co-founder Pierre Omidyar founded First Look Media in 2013 and recruited Snowden's Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras. They were asked to make the vast treasure trove of data available to the public through The Intercept magazine.
