🔻Our Sacrifices
🔸The issue of sacrificing started from the beginning of creation. The main argument between Cain and Abel was about their sacrifices being accepted. [Qur’an 5:27] Cain wasn’t an ill-tempered person that he decided to kill his brother. Rather, the important issue of a #sacrifice being accepted or not was involved.
🔸At the end of each period of worshiping, we should think about whether our worshiping has been #accepted or not, for instance Hajj or the month of Ramadan. A deed being accepted is very complicated, and God has made it ambiguous for us whether He has accepted our deeds or not.
🔸Sometimes we must sacrifice our #likings. Prophet #Ibrahim (‘a) had asked for a son from God, God had granted him #Ismail and he liked his son because of God. He wasn’t an ordinary child, but was capable of becoming a prophet. Now, he had to sacrifice his child, and Prophet Ibrahim did so. However, God showed mercy to him and said, “You truly wanted to do this, so it’s enough and accepted.”
🔸Sometimes we must sacrifice one of our #talents. We should not become sad if we are not able to use all our talents or if we are not able to do a great deed, which we had wanted to do. Sometimes these things are our sacrifices. We put effort but if it doesn’t happen, we should say, “Ok God.”
🔸We have #problems in life. Let’s count them to be our sacrifices for God. Let your soul smile and be satisfied with life. You have made a sacrifice in not being able to do something, to show a talent, or you lost an opportunity. Say, “These are my sacrifices.”
🔸Imam Ali (‘a) was the most talented person on earth who could have manifested all his talents. He said, “People, I can get light from this running water for your nights!” [Tasnif Nahj al-Balaghah, p. 782] They did not allow him to manifest his talents.
🔸If a person gives a sacrifice and it’s accepted, he will enjoy spiritually very much, not a selfish but a loving enjoyment. The #vitality and happiness that comes from giving a sacrifice is so great that we have an #Eid for giving a sacrifice called “Eid al-Adha.”
🌱Congratulations on Eid al-Adha to everyone!

📷 An Opportunity to Reconcile with Oneself
Prayer is an opportunity for becoming familiar with God and reconciling with oneself. This means becoming familiar with God Who keeps calling you to Himself for you to know Him more and for you to reconcile with yourself, whom you were upset with. You had ignored your deep, hidden needs. Find yourself and your God in praying.

🔻Paying attention to one’s destiny means that we should realize that on the highway of life, we cannot make a U-turn and change our path at just any time we want.
🔻Sometimes a person is a captive of his past goodness.
👉🏼 Destiny (4)
🔸A person does not have the #authority to change his path at just any time that he wants. Paying attention to our #destinies means that we should know we are not completely free to do all good or bad deeds. On the highway of life, we cannot make a U-turn and change our path at just any time we want. Sometimes we have to travel one kilometre to get to a place where we can make a U-turn. For example, when a tradition says, “The worship acts of a person who eats from unlawful money will not be accepted for forty days,” [Kanz al-Amal, tradition no. 9266] this means that he cannot make a U-turn and change his path for forty days.
🔸It is very good for us to look at these compulsory parts of our lives. Of course, according to what Imam Sadiq (‘a) said, “We are not completely #forced, nor are we completely #free. Rather, it is something between these two.” [Kafi, vol. 1, p. 160] We should pay attention to this fact that at least a part of our lives is not in our control.
🔸Sometimes a person is captivated by his past #goodness. For example, consider a person who serves the Household of the Prophet (‘a) or their friends, honors the religious rites or makes a sacrifice at some time. Does such a person have the authority to do every bad deed he wants to do? No! God will not let him.
🔸Imam Husayn (‘a) said, “When people want to obey God, God will not stop them. However, when they want to commit a sin, if God wants, He will put a distance between them and their intention.” [Makatib al-A’imah, vol. 3, p. 151]

📷 Who deserves to be loved?
The ability to be able to love is much more important than reaching one’s beloved. Human beings’ problem is not how to reach their beloved. Their problem is that they cannot fall in love that easily, or they cannot find the one who deserves to be loved, or their selfishness does not allow them to fall in love. The only ones who deserve to be loved are God and His Friends, if our selfishness allows us.

🔻 Why did the Prophet (s) used to abandon the Ka’ba and go to a mountain to worship?
🔻 Imam Hadi (‘a) said that the Prophet’s character grew and developed in nature.
🔸One of a believer’s traits is that he/she is fond of nature, loves being in nature and benefits from it spiritually.
🔸Why did the Prophet (s), who knew the greatness of the reward of #worshiping next to the Ka’ba, often abandon the Ka’ba and go to be in the #mountains and valleys? Why didn’t he stop going to the mountains? What did he see in mountains, and how did he benefit from going into the mountains?
🔸Imam Hadi (‘a) said, “The Prophet (s) used to go to Mount Hira’ every day and see the effects of God’s mercy in nature. In this way, he was reminded of the Almighty God.” [Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 17, p. 309] Imam Hadi (‘a) said that the Prophet’s character grew and developed in nature. And, this is a way that is open to everyone.
🔸It is very bad for a believer not to have spiritual recreation in nature! Recreation in nature is in fact for the believers, and for those who hear nature glorifying God and can sense the light of its spirituality.
🔸It is good if people who are used to going to the Mosque have a weekly program to take their families into nature. Going into nature should be a regular activity of the believers and the Muslims.
🔸A person with a pure heart spiritually enjoys nature that is #glorifying God. “Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth declares the glory of Allah.” [Qur’an 62:1] Nature welcomes such a person and becomes happy due to his/her presence. He/she benefits from nature, and nature benefits from him/her.
🔸Imam Reza (‘a) said, “Looking at the sea is an act of worship.” [Sahifah of Imam Reza (‘a), p. 90] The way that the “Nudbah Supplication” can be read next to the sea, can it be read like that anywhere else?! Can one pray the Midnight Prayer that is prayed in a mountain the same way at home?! If it was possible and it was the same thing, the Prophet would not have gone to the mountain.
🔸Congratulations on the anniversary of the birth of Imam Hadi (‘a)!

🔻A Message from You
🔸Surrounded by Hypocrisy, I used to copy other people in order to be recognised.
🔸Years ago, I was trapped and sick with the worldly amusements and joys. I used to be jealous of others being happy. I never believed in praying and asking for repentance. As a young lad and passing through adolescence, I have always been searching of right way of living. I was confused, wretched, ignorant of the celestial existence of truth. Surrounded by Hypocrisy, I used to copy other people in order to be recognised.
🔸In such darkness, I received a video. A video regarding Ghadeer. A speech given by you. It was regarding giving food to others on the day of Ghadeer. Tho I wasn't having any of my personal account of money, I intended to act on your words. The next year, I got addicted to your videos. Whenever I felt sad, I watched your videos in the darkness of night. Since, I find your videos as my reminder for journey towards Almighty.
🔸You are gradually changing my perspective towards Almighty. You have introduced religion to me in a very beautiful manner. You have encouraged me to start my journey towards freedom, towards Qalbe Saleem.

🔻The good feeling of Eid al-Ghadir
🔸The spiritual inner #enjoyment that people can feel on #Ghadir is more than on Ashura. We should tell those who have tasted the enjoyment of Ashura, “You still haven’t tasted the enjoyment of Ghadir!”
🔸I do not want to say that the enjoyment that comes from being happy for the Household of the Prophet is more than the enjoyment that comes from being sad for them. And I do not want to say that the enjoyment of Muharram is only due to its mourning ceremonies. During that time too you talk about affection for the Household (‘a). However, the enjoyment of #Guardianship and becoming drowned in it is obviously more than the enjoyment of affection.
🔸On Ghadir, people should not participate in commemorations of this event due to feeling that it is a duty or to gain rewards. Rather, they should participate due to their enjoyment in the same way that on Ashura they go to gatherings because they are enjoyable.
🔸When a person goes on the walk for Arbaeen, he is restless the next year and says, “I have to go again.” If we tell him, “Going one time was enough; you have gained its reward,” he will reply, “Sure. But, I don’t want to go for its reward anymore. I want to go for itself.”
🔸The enjoyment of Ghadir is very surprising. It is very different from all other enjoyments. Let’s think about this.
🌸 Congratulations on #Eid al-Ghadir (‘a) to all those who like to follow the path of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib (‘a), and #LiveLikeAli (‘a).

🔻The Beauties of Prostration
🔸The part of the prayer, which we should lengthen and pay more attention to if we want our prayer to have more effect on us, besides carrying out the rules and rituals during the entire time that we are praying, is #prostration. A long prostration with awareness is very effective in destroying our pride and causing God’s Greatness and Grandeur to enter our hearts.
🔸Since God knew what amazing results and positive effects come from prostration in praying and how close His servants are to Him in prostration, he has put two prostrations in each cycle of prayer. From the beginning of the prayer when you say “Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest),” wait eagerly for the moments when you go into prostration.
🔸Try to lengthen your prostrations. Don’t say, “I should finish my prayer sooner so that I will be able to do that job!” Imam Sadiq (a) said, “If a servant hurries (and gets up quickly) to pursue his needs, God will say, ‘Doesn’t My servant know that I am the One Who provides his needs?!’” [Usul al-Kafi, vol. 2, p. 474]
🔸A person practices becoming extremely small in front of God in prostration. However, this practice doesn’t bring about a revolution in one’s heart from the beginning. When I have done this action beautifully for a while, God knows that there is no love, mystical feelings, and these kinds of things in my heart yet. But, He sees that I am putting effort for this.
🔸The Commander of the Faithful, Ali (a), said, “If a person who is praying understands what a blessing from God has surrounded him, he will never get up from prostration.” [Ghurar al- Hikam, p. 568] It has been narrated that sometimes a single prostration of Imam Kazim (a) lasted until morning. [Mizan al-Hikmah, tradition no. 1,234] God knows that if pious people have the time, what they will do when standing before God.
🌱Congratulations on the anniversary of the birth of Imam Musa al-Kazim (a)!

The fact that the life of a flower is short is effective in its popularity. The fact that gold is scarce is effective in its being valuable. A human being is always looking for scarce and unique things. He is unaware that the most unique creature in the universe is a good person. Instead of finding scarce things, let’s become unique people.

📷 What is prayer a reminder of?
Prayer (Salat) is a link between the past of a human being’s life and its future. You are reminded in prayer where you came from and where you are going. You are reminded in prayer that you did not exist and that you will never become non-existent. Prayer reminds you that you have risen from dirt and will return to dirt.
