🔻 Imam Reza (a) said that the verse “Mubahalah” is Ali’s (a) highest virtue.

🔻The most glorious gathering of the Household (a) was on the day of “Mubahalah.”

🔸If Ghadir is the Eid of #Guardianship, Mubahalah is the Eid of #virtue. That is because Ali’s (a) greatest virtue was specified on the day of Mubahalah, and this has been explicitly stated in the #Quran. [3:61]

🔸Imam Reza (a) told Ma’mun, “Ali’s highest virtue is the verse of #Mubahalah. Because in this verse, #Ali (a) has been introduced as the Holy #Prophet’s #self.” The unawareness concerning Mubahalah should be removed. This event is much more important than many other events.

🔸There is no one in the world of Islam who denies Mubahalah and this great virtue of Ali (a). This is an explicit verse of the Qur’an, and everyone has narrated the story of Mubahalah.

🔸Where are the lovers of the #Household of the Prophet to celebrate the greatest celebration of affection and show their happiness to everyone? We should accept that we have not yet grown in the school of the Household of the Prophet as much as we need to. Being happy about the revelation of the verse of Mubahalah causes hearts to ascend when mourning during the month of Muharram. The most glorious gathering of the Household (a) throughout history is Mubahalah.

🔸We should teach the story of Mubahalah to our children. O people who commemorate #Muharram, see how #Husayn (a) is in the Prophet’s embrace in Mubahalah. Why don’t you show your happiness openly? Are you waiting for Aba Abdillah to be lying in the ditch where he was brutally killed for you to mourn for him? You should inform everyone in the world of your happiness now, so that they may understand the reason for your crying and weeping on Ashura.

🔻 “Guardianship” means the Imam is a patron of the people.

đź”»The supportive role of the Imam is more important than his role as a teacher.

âž–In order for a person to flourish, he/she needs a #patron. This patron is the #Imam. The fact that the #Prophet is our Guardian means that he wants to support us. In the same way, the first thing we see in our parents is that they are our patrons. This is especially true about the period of childhood when one is greatly in need of their support.

➖If we ask our children what they think of the Imams and the Prophet, they will say that they are mostly teachers and guides, not patrons. Of course, it is true that the prophets and the Guardians are for our guidance too. However, the Guardian’s role of being a teacher and guide is less important than their role of being a patron for the people.

➖We should not imagine that being an Imam or a Prophet means being a teacher! The primary role of the Imam is to be like a parent and a patron. First off, people should understand this role, and then we can talk about their other role of being like a teacher and their rights on us. In the same way, if the role of parents in being patrons is understood, the parents’ rights will also be easily proven.

➖Why does the Imam play a #supportive role? This is so that he may resolve people’s weak points. Are we human beings truly weak and in need of a patron? If a student is confronted by a young person who is stronger than he is who wants to bully him, isn’t it necessary to support this student? Don’t various kinds of thieves and aggressors in the world infringe on the oppressed people’s rights when contending with them?!

➖The Holy Qur’an says, “The Prophet has more authority over the believers than they have themselves.” [33:6] According to a tradition, what is meant by the Prophet (s) having authority over your wealth and property is that you should work, but if you were not able to provide for yourself, the Prophet (s) will compensate for you. [Tafsir Qomi, vol. 2, p. 176] Therefore, the result of the Prophet and the Imams being patrons, having authority and having absolute Guardianship is that they are a support and patron of the people.

🔳 Condolences on the anniversary of the demise of the Holy #ProphetMuhammad (s) and the martyrdom of #ImamHasan bin Ali (as).

đź”» In the beginning, we must sacrifice our bad likings for good ones.
đź”» In the next stage, we must sacrifice our good likings for higher ones.

👉🏼 Destiny (12)

🔸In each #test, and in each good choice we make, we must crush some of our #likings. Of course, this is difficult and painful to do. Overcoming superficial interests and reaching deep, hidden #interests is the only way for human beings to produce added value. Thus, God has said, “O man! Surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him.” [Qur’an 84:6]

🔸#ImamAli (as) said, “Each worship act involves some difficulties and dislikes, and each sin involves some desires.” [Nahj al-Balaghah, sermon 176] But don’t try to be religious by adapting religion to your own desires.

🔸The #Prophet (s) said about those who work for their life in the Hereafter, “People die once, but they die 70 times a day due to fighting their own wills, opposing their desires and fighting the evil that runs through their veins.” [Mizan al-Hikmah, p. 2916]

🔸God says, “Certainly We have created man to be in distress.” [Qur’an 90:4] But we keep pursuing excitements and entertainments. We expect to be constantly immersed in pleasures and comforts even though we see that we fail to achieve many of our dreams. Today, some hold classes on how to be #successful and how to reach our dreams. But Imam Ali (as) in a letter to the youth said, “I am writing to a youth whose dreams won’t come true.” [Nahj al-Balaghah, letter 31]

🔸Not only must we crush our bad and worthless likings for good, valuable likings, but in higher stages, we must also crush our good likings for better ones. And this opposing our will continues until the last moments of our lives. [Tuhaf al-Uqul, p. 370]

🔸Fighting his will for a person like Ibrahim (as) was not crushing his bad likings. It meant crushing a good liking, loving his son Ismael (as), for the love of God. Imam Ali (as) loved to protect the trust that had been entrusted to him and defend Fatimah (as). But the situation was such that for the sake of God and a higher interest, he didn’t use his sword to defend Fatimah (as), and this was very hard for him.
