🔻A person who looks at phenomena from above becomes active and considers the future.
🔻God forbid you should say in the future, “I did not have any role in the Reappearance of the Saviour!”

👉🏼 Perspective (5)

🔸One of the parts of a good #perspective is that a person should be able to look at things from above and not become drowned in the phenomena. If a person looks at phenomena from the outside, he/she will see the agents and effects of any phenomenon. He/she will be able to distinguish its roots and consequences.

🔸If we look at the process of how feelings for #Imam_Husayn (‘a) become strong in the hearts of people from the outside, we can understand that Imam Husayn (‘a) will take over the world. And, we can feel how close we have come to the #Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (‘a.j.)

🔸When some people go on the #Arbaeen walk, they become drowned in the event itself and do not look at the totality of Arbaeen from the outside. Therefore, they do not understand its greatness.

🔸If you feel that the world is rapidly moving towards Imam Husayn (‘a), you will be careful not to be left behind this caravan. You will become avid to catch up to it. God forbid you should regretfully say tomorrow, “I did not have any role in the Reappearance of the Saviour, or I only had a small role!”

🔸A person who looks at phenomena from above becomes active and considers the future. It depends on your way of looking at things for you to become avid and enthusiastic to act. Especially today, when you see the process and the speed with which the truth is winning, you will become avid not to be left behind and to put more effort.

🔻Imam Husayn (‘a) is the most stimulating part of our religion.

🔸These days are the days of the anniversaries of the births of #Imam_Husayn (‘a), Aba al-Fazl #Abbas and #Imam_Sajjad (‘a). Karbala and the day of #Ashura of Aba Abdillah (‘a) are the most stimulating parts of our religion. No other part of religion is like this to be able to create this much #enthusiasm in a person’s heart. Sometimes you see people putting more energy for Ashura than for the Nights of Power. Why? Because what we do for the day of Ashura is mostly due to our enthusiasm, and not to our fear. It is not like the Nights of Power when we pray because we are afraid that our destiny will be ruined or our sins won’t be forgiven. Of course, fear is good and necessary, but it is incomparable with respect to enthusiasm.

🔸On the day of Ashura you go to religious gatherings and marches because of your enthusiasm for Aba Abdillah (‘a). On Ashura, people are not even after gaining rewards, and they do things because of their pure enthusiasm, which is the product of their pure love. What other factor can create this enthusiasm in us like Aba Abdillah al-Husayn (‘a)? This enthusiasm is truly amazing.

🔻How can we increase our affection for the Imam of the Time (‘a.j.)?

🔸Reading the stories about the Household of the Prophet (‘a) and the details of their lives, increases our affection for them. However, not much information has been narrated from the Imam of the Time (‘a.j.) who has always been in Occultation. Instead, we should use our power of #thinking more! For example, let’s think some about the amount #Imam_Mahdi (‘a.j.) loves us.

🔸 Why does he review the file of our actions every week? Is it due to his curiosity? Or, is it due to his #fondness for us, like kind parents who care about their child’s educational status? Let’s not pass on this subject that easily. Let’s think about it. If we spend time thinking about this, it can transform us and increase our love for the Imam (‘a.j.).

🔰Imam Ali’s (‘a) Sorrows

🔻The First Sorrow
🔸Imam Ali’s first #sorrow was martyrdom. The Commander of the Faithful (‘a) was the Prophet’s (s) successor and son-in-law. When Gabriel brought revelation to the Prophet (s), #Imam_Ali (‘a) saw and heard everything. He was Fatimah’s (‘a) spouse and the father of two Imams. Ali (‘a) had all of the virtues. But, he used to cry and ask the Prophet (s), “O Prophet of God, why don’t I become a #martyr?!”
Dear Ali, you are even next to God in this world too. You are close to God when praying. Why do you like to become a martyr?

🔻The Second Sorrow
🔸His second sorrow was the sorrow he felt for people. He lengthened the “Battle of Siffin.” People asked, “O Ali, why do you do this?” He replied, “I swear, I only do this to give time to those in the enemy’s ranks to regret and join us! If we quickly fight and they are killed, they will go to Hell!” He did not even like to kill his #enemies and felt sad for them! He even counselled his children about his murderer.

🔻The Third Sorrow
🔸His third sorrow was due to his #friends. When a companion was martyred in the “Battle of Siffin,” he would cry very hard. He searched among the dead for the body of Ammar reading a poem with this meaning, “O world, you are so bad! You look and see who I love, and then, you take him away from me!”

🔻The Hardest Sorrow
🔸Among all his sorrows, the hardest was that people remained ignorant! Imam Khomeini said this was the worst agony for Ali (‘a) who used to say, “I do not like your world even a bit!” He did not like to defend himself, but preferred to be #unknown! But, people said, “Ali! You are greedy for the caliphate and governing!” Therefore, he was forced to #defend and introduce himself to the people. He defended himself to guide the people. The main oppression they brought on him was not fighting with him. It was their continuous #accusations. For example, they accused him of Uthman’s murder! This is while it has been recorded in history that he did his best for Uthman not to be killed. With all of these, it is not surprising that he used to cry into a well!

Tonight, Ali (‘a) becomes free from all accusations forever...

🔸What was Imam Reza’s (‘a) special mission?

🔻When we hear the honorable name of #Imam_Reza (‘a), what is the most important feature of this Imam that should come to our mind? What was his special mission?

🔻Among all the Imams, Imam Reza (‘a) conveyed the most explicit messages about #Imamate and #Guardianship to the people. We can say he was the “great caller to Imamate and Guardianship.” In some ways, his invitation to Guardianship was the most overt.

🔻When Imam Reza (‘a) felt the opportunity was right and the people had some capacity to become familiar with the concepts of Imamate and Guardianship, he did not work on concepts such as praying, fasting, worshiping or morals. Instead, he went straight to the main subject and talked about the most important religious concept, Guardianship. An outstanding example of this is the “Silsilah al-Dhahab Tradition.”

🔻The “Silsilah al-Dhahab Tradition” is the historical document highlighting the special #mission of Imam Reza in inviting people to Imamate. In this tradition, the Imam (‘a) said, “I heard from my father Musa bin Ja’far, and he heard from his fathers, and they heard from the Prophet, that he heard from the angel Gabriel, that he heard from God, that God said, ‘La Illah Illa Allah (There is no god except Allah) is My strong fortress. Whoever enters it will be safe from My punishment.’” After the Imam’s caravan had started to move forward, the Imam called out to the people saying, “Of course, there are some conditions to this, and I am one of those conditions.” [Uyun Akhbar al-Reza, vol. 2, p. 135]

🔻This means if a person says, “There is no god except Allah,” this will be accepted from him and he will be safe from divine punishment, but with some conditions. And, Imam Reza (‘a) is one of the conditions for it being accepted.

🌸Congratulations on the anniversary of the birth of Imam Reza (‘a)!

🔻Living individually or living in a family?

🔸The #family is the base for learning how to live in #society. Why is visiting relatives very important in Islam? Because, visiting your #relatives means communicating with those whom you are forced to have relations with and not just with those whom you have chosen and with whom you have fun. It is in this situation that we grow.

🔸 #Growth is in having relations with those who do not match you. You communicate and cooperate, and in this #communication and #cooperation, you must tolerate many things, which results in your growth. The more people’s lives become westernized the more separated from others they become. They even try to encourage families to have less children.

🔸 Imam Muhammad Baqir (‘a) said, “I am #patient with my servants and family’s actions, which are more bitter than a colocynth (a bitter fruit). Because, due to a person’s patience, he/she will reach the level of a person who fasts, is awake at nights worshiping and a person who is martyred while fighting alongside the Prophet (s)!” [Thawab al-Amaal, p. 198]

🔸 Some sensitive people call themselves believers, but they are not willing to tolerate being irritated in the least by any other believer! Therefore, they release themselves from such relationships and do not work with others.

◾️Condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of #Imam_Baqir (‘a) to all those who are seeking the truth.

🔻 “Guardianship” means the Imam is a patron of the people.

🔻The supportive role of the Imam is more important than his role as a teacher.

In order for a person to flourish, he/she needs a #patron. This patron is the #Imam. The fact that the #Prophet is our Guardian means that he wants to support us. In the same way, the first thing we see in our parents is that they are our patrons. This is especially true about the period of childhood when one is greatly in need of their support.

If we ask our children what they think of the Imams and the Prophet, they will say that they are mostly teachers and guides, not patrons. Of course, it is true that the prophets and the Guardians are for our guidance too. However, the Guardian’s role of being a teacher and guide is less important than their role of being a patron for the people.

We should not imagine that being an Imam or a Prophet means being a teacher! The primary role of the Imam is to be like a parent and a patron. First off, people should understand this role, and then we can talk about their other role of being like a teacher and their rights on us. In the same way, if the role of parents in being patrons is understood, the parents’ rights will also be easily proven.

Why does the Imam play a #supportive role? This is so that he may resolve people’s weak points. Are we human beings truly weak and in need of a patron? If a student is confronted by a young person who is stronger than he is who wants to bully him, isn’t it necessary to support this student? Don’t various kinds of thieves and aggressors in the world infringe on the oppressed people’s rights when contending with them?!

The Holy Qur’an says, “The Prophet has more authority over the believers than they have themselves.” [33:6] According to a tradition, what is meant by the Prophet (s) having authority over your wealth and property is that you should work, but if you were not able to provide for yourself, the Prophet (s) will compensate for you. [Tafsir Qomi, vol. 2, p. 176] Therefore, the result of the Prophet and the Imams being patrons, having authority and having absolute Guardianship is that they are a support and patron of the people.

🔳 Condolences on the anniversary of the demise of the Holy #ProphetMuhammad (s) and the martyrdom of #ImamHasan bin Ali (as).
