Due to some reasons that I'd rather not tell, I started to learn bicycle a little late, with my elder brother's bicycle. It would be scary at first, the fear of falling and getting hurt. But later on, when I became comfortable with cycles, I enjoyed riding them a lot. I observed some changes in myself as well, I was more observant, enough to see those little flowers shaped like Ballet dancers by the roadside. My ability to co operate with others increased as well, and failing my tests didn't scare me anymore.
When I sat down one day, thinking about the changes in myself, I was surprised to find that cycling taught me all these automatically. I learned co operation from the different parts of cycle, being observant by avoiding accidents and not scared of failing my tests by not fearing to fall while riding.
Riding a bicycle taught me more than just riding it.

Title: Suggestions welcomed. :)
Walking down the street,
all alone on Christmas eve,
with a heart stuck somewhere,
between the wall around it and the sweatshirt's sleeve.
A broad minded girl,
with a galaxy of thoughts in her mind,
gone, so deep within herself,
that for others she was hard to find.
A chubby, short highted, dark girl,
this was her identity,
no one looked beyond this,
to know her internal infinity.
A girl who would make others happy,
make them soar high,
but when she is alone at night,
you can see her with a blade on her thigh.
Perfectly fine outside,
a turmoil on the inside,
with mismanaged emotions running haywire,
eating her away, like a ferocious fire.

Title: A teardrop's tale.
A tethered heart,
that couldn't bear it anymore,
too broken to control itself,
too damaged, too sore.
This was my birthplace,
but since the heart couldn't cry,
I saw the world through someone's eyes,
before it was a goodbye.
I don't know what broke this person,
but she was broken, very bad.
The feelings written on her face,
couldn't be justified by the word sad.
I rolled down those eyes,
on the floor I fell down,
slowly, very slowly,
I evaporated on my own.
When I became a cloud,
and fell down as rain,
I healed another broken heart,
maybe, I ended its pain.

"You're useless...
Hate you...."
I reviewed the day in my mind,
I didn't hurt anyone,
then what did I do to hear this,
why am I always the one?
When you say this, I smile,
pretend that I don't care,
but shouldn't you realise,
there's a limit to how much one can bear?
When the room was empty,
I hugged my shawl and cried,
you gave the scar in a moment,
but it won't go that easily, right?
Everything became normal for you,
as if you never shredded my heart,
you became the whole once again,
and I the missing part.
As I cover my tears with an upbeat song,
screaming the lyrics and singing along,
you still sit in that room happily,
as my heart dies slowly.

Flowers on full bloom,
as if putting a full stop on Earth's gloom.
The sky shining with the radiance of the huge yellow ring,
marks the onset of a beautiful spring.
The hornbills are dancing,
in the cloudless blue sky,
whispering the season's greetings,
to every other bird passing by.
Only of the onset of spring on Earth,
could make a tethered soul feel alive,
maybe the gloom inside it would end,
and it would give another chance to life.

I felt like you are the one,
at the very first sight,
but we might remain strangers forever,
I don't know if that's a boon or a plight.
I ain't sure of what I'm feeling,
if it is infatuation or love,
but seeing you gives me calmness,
makes me feel like a dove.
If I reach out to you,
would you think I'm wierd or a creep?
Or would you think it's just a timepass,
and silently take my leave?
You might have someone else,
and I ain't sure if you are the one for me,
I leave it on the Universe now,
where this goes, let me see.
P.S. - These ain't my feelings, these are just my words for someone's feelings.

Many a times, suicide is linked with cowardice. It may seem true on the surface, but has anyone ever given this topic attention?
As human beings, it's our tendency to save ourselves in the face of danger.
To those who call people who commit suicide cowards, would you ever put yourself in a situation where you know that the only way out is death?
I ain't saying that commiting suicide is an act of bravery, but it is just that we, as a part of the society, should just try to understand that there must have been some reason, the person chose death over life.

#review Title: Someone you should know
I don't know who is reading this,
and what their feelings are right now,
but I'd like to introduce them,
to some people whom I know.
They are like the beautiful spring,
that makes the flowers of hope bloom,
even if they are sad themselves,
they alleviate their loved ones' gloom.
They protect their loved ones from pain,
like a mountain, standing proud and tall,
they might be broken themselves,
but they won't ever let others fall.
They always smile for their people,
only in a quiet room they will shed their tears,
they might be afraid of their own dreams,
but try to help others come out of their fears.
They might not be sure about themselves,
if they will ever do anything right,
but if someone tries to hurt their loved ones,
they won't give up without a good fight.
They are like the perinneal rivers,
having the power to both destroy and nurture,
the past is a bygone for them,
they focus their energy on the future.
Curious about who "they" are here?
It's you, yes, everyone reading this right now,
please know that you are precious,
unleash yourselves and make the world go wow!

Title: Sorry, you've fallen for the wrong girl.
P.S. : This is just the prologue, for my first book on Wattpad, please tell me if it is good enough.
Female lead's POV:
It was moments like this, the one I'm having right now, which made me wish that the dark of the night and the gentle wind weren't my only company when I cried. It would be nice if I had a true friend by my side, lending me their shoulder to cry and tell me it will be alright, that it wasn't my fault.
Male lead's POV:
I don't remember the last time I visited Rhys. But I needed the distraction right now, to get my mind off of the new curvy Asian girl, yet to be introduced in class. She somehow had my attention since first period.
Maybe looking at the city from the roof would be a good distraction.
Once upstairs, the first thing my eyes landed on was the girl forementioned sitting on the neighbouring roof.
Why did she have to live here of all places?
She was crying, but why?
I watched her silently while a few tears slipped out of her eyes.
By the time she rushed downstairs, two things were certain.
One, she wasn't the one who cried for attention and sympathy, just to show that she isn't okay. She was the one who cried so that she can continue pretending that she is okay.
Two, the attention this girl is getting from me, without even asking for it, is unnerving.

Remember when your world was a void,
a blank canvas, randomly thrown your way,
you painted it with every colour you wanted,
which made you what you are today.
Remember when your bubble was burst,
your idea of what the world was denied,
when you had to accept whatever they said,
use words according to "their" define.
Remember you've faced all of that,
and still stand proud and tall,
you'll eventually reach the epitome of strength,
where no one will be able to make you fall.
P.S. : The their written in inverted commas, second paragraph means the people who forced their opinion on you.

When I lost all my hopes,
the dark felt so welcoming,
it felt like an embrace so strong,
that to leave the dark, I was unwilling.
I broke without a single sound,
as all my efforts went in vain,
ever recollecting those memories,
causing me a physical pain.
A pain so strong,
that it would have showed itself in the light,
where the critics would have seem my suffering,
laughing at my plight.
So I ran, into the dark,
leaving the light willing to support my fall,
I embraced the dark so tight,
even if it was feared by all.

Instead of surrendering to the light,
which sometimes makes my wounds feel sore,
I opened myself up to the dark today,
so that the darkness inside me won't feel lonely anymore.
