Thinking of you,
As everything tastes so gray.
A past I thought I threw,
Couldn't cope with how much you weigh.
We're few steps apart, yet overdue.
I lift my eyes, to see you astray.
Articulating my feelings, they seem very true.
Regardless of the fact, that you're away.
Been hard separating mellow from blue,
Forced to be in a game I never wanted to play.
A life with you, in my head grew.
occupying my day, so I speechlessly pray.
Stuck in a picture I once drew,
Colours fading, as it started to decay.
Holding on to chances, I myself blew.
Uncertainly waiting, as that's my price to pay.

Irritatingly he wonders,
What else could've been done?
Took a chance over the other,
Faster than that the jump of a gun.
He keeps the hope in order to cope,
Growing stronger sliding down this seemingly endless slope,
Yet he knows there is no option to run.
What else could've been done?
If he's born during a break of a pattern,
an eclipse.
The natural is no longer the fun.
It's uncommon,
Seeing the moon hide it's shine,
when facing it's brightly golden sun.
Know that there is more to its shyness,
When Earth blocked it's sight, darkness begun.

Guarding myself, not to be heartbroken,
Holding on too tightly,
my shield became a symbol, a token.

For the warmth of your fire I keep you close,
Seeking a desire that is in a way, enclosed.
Elevating my temperature higher,
Flooding my veins, overdosed.
Yet to discover the element,
the source of the energy you acquire,
But Who am I to read beyond the written?
to get it disclosed.
Isn't the mystery of pulling a wire,
that keeps the fishermen skin grow drier ?

She = He, an equation still not accepted,
She is dependent, powerless, and incapable still suspected.
Her ideas are openly mocked but silently noted,
Her hard work and sacrifices remain unquoted.
She is not allowed to raise her voice,
Sitting still and silent, she is left with no choice.
She must be perfect from head to toe,
She rejected you. How dare she?! Label her a hoe!
‘Equal’ in “Equality” and ‘Free’ in “Freedom”,
It’s no rocket science to understand these two words unless you are dumb!!
Let her take a stand,
And if she is struggling lend her a helping hand!
She also has a life and will not always be available,
So instead of making her feel guilty, make her comfortable.
Homemaking together with job undertaking, she can be a multitasker,
Trust her, care for her ask her!
Ability and Success does not come with a particular gender,
If you want to shine you will have to be a worthy contender.
You cannot undermine her just because you are strong,
Men＞Women or Women＜Men, both the equations are wrong.
