Winter Breeze

There's a wind blowing
Blowing things out of proportion
My thoughts, stuck
As the world spirals.

My soul gets cold
From the unwanted thoughts
Sights of anxiety creep in
And my soul is lost.

My heart gets hit
By this ball of ice called heartbreak
And I begin to think
"what could have been".

This winter breeze in me
Uncontrollable and strong
But somehow I still have hope

Sunshine and puppies with a tomorrow that marks summer

In the morning rays of Sunshine
I opened my eyes and saw the happiness of tomorrow

My words were intertwined in my tongue and
I started to speak languages I don't understand but
one thing for sure they were filled with joy

I stood on top of a mountain and
I declared the happiness that reigns within my soul that no one can take away from me and
I smiled at the presence of nature's sunshine staring at my face smiling, giving me all those feels that make me chirp like birds on a winter's morning

I went by the river I saw peace distilling itself in my soul I saw joy coming in and clothing itself with the hairs on my skin
I heard the river flow and it gave me Assurance that tomorrow will cruise better than those cruise ships

I heard the laughter of children nearby that reminded me that youth doesn't last forever but enjoy it and embrace it While it still embraces you

Intuition

My intuition stands between me and making Bad Choices,
it reminds me of roads I'm not supposed to cross,
it reminds me of stairs I'm not supposed to climb,
yet in my independence I forget myself and I choose to listen to The bickering voice in my mind telling me to do what I'm not supposed to do.

I listen to the stairs that tell me to keep walking to the wrong decision I listen to the road that tells me to keep taking the wrong path while intuition as soft as its voice can be it is still a part of me that needs to scream louder.

Days go by

Days go by in the winter storm
Mornings seem in competition with the morning fall of snowflakes.
Sunshine rises in the imagination of the young who are tucked in their grizzly bear blankets. Snow angels smile at passerbys as they are the only sight worth to behold.
Cookies and warm milk are the delicacies of the festive but even though the outside is frosty, inside is warm because of the laughs of loved ones.
