Where did we fail?
I remember how pure my thinking was when I was 10 years old. I never had the idea of what hatred felt like. I never knew understood the world but all I enjoyed was the company of people with whom I used to play, laugh, shout, cry, eat, mock, love and many other feelings.
I knew when I entered my teenage that I'm torn between two extremes of cultural diversity. One being the traditional and the other millineal. One extreme though strictly disciplined had flaws that millineals made mockery, the other extreme had no rules and enjoyed the freedom that the traditionals fought and got. Hence the millineal freedom was not earned but gifted.
I remember how I used to cherish even a small gift that I got for a birthday or any occasion. Freedom to us is a gift. Why do we fail to understand that this gift once lost is not easy to get back.
We as the future have forgotten to understand that the freedom of speech is to express the rights not to spread hatred. The freedom of expression is not to beat and kill each other. Remember the last time we were divided, someone from outside had to make us realize after 200 years that we have been made slaves.
Where did we fail to understand the 2020 that we dreamt about is not how we have made it into. Everyday I open a newspaper, I see happiness struggling to show up at every corner but there is so much negativity on every single aspect of life that people have adjusted themselves to be the negativity factor.
This day let us understand where did we fail, reassess, and start fresh with some positivity in everything.
