I still wake up with nightmares
in the middle of a dead night.
Thousands of cuts on my arm,
and a couple of failed attempts
to kill my heart forever,
and still the pain is as fresh as it was
during those few yet long hours.

But even after drowning in this,
black ocean without a shore to be seen,
Do you know what finally gave me the will to live?
My pen ,ofcourse.

My mind at those times was overflowing with
emotions I couldn't share.
Yes ,you're right, that incident is still a secret
to everyone around, but now you know.
And indeed, Im a coward for always
telling lie and that is,
‌"I'm fine"

Back to the topic,
My pen, my dear pen.
It amused me how I could put down
My unsaid feelings in that white paper.
Fill up it's blankness with my ink and my heart.
And sorry this has been a long poem and
I know it's been hard to keep up.
But if I have to make you understand
why I'm in love with my pen,
I had to tell you this from the very start.
How a terrifying gift,
Left me with a gift I really love,
And for me, my pen- "That's what you are,
and more"
And for you, you know now,
the reason behind why I write,
and why I pen my feelings down.

That's kind of silly poem I wrote months ago to motivate myself. I've translated it right now from Italian.

" Oh, what will be my way?
Darkness attacks me, but...
(It is ❌) Is it here to stay?
When night is too dark,
And seems you lost your path,
When mist prevails
and soul is scared...
Hope, like a bright star will shine!
The best way
heart will find,
And a time will come
for dreams to become true,
Proceeding and continuing to fight!
The benevolent virtue
will be rewarded,
And perseverance,
like fire in the night,
Will always win! "

This is the first poem I've ever wrote, while I was realizing how I wanted to write poetry. It's a bit messed up. (please don't mind it) I just translated it, please let me know if I wrote something wrong.

"In a full winter day
(I remembered after looking out the window)
With my soul in turmoil,
To find relief near the fire I sat.
My gaze in the flame I drowned,
And there, inner wisdom I discovered.
In front of me, the answers
to the questions that used to make me die inside:
How to impress feelings in a piece of paper,
So they can be felt,
Clear and strong?
What good is it to me my talent,
Since I can't feel emotions anymore?
Those "emotions" were like a bonfire in a frozen land,
So I couldn't feel their warmth,
Separated from a thick icy bed.
But the fire, at least partly,
Melted the pain away,
And allowed me to feel - of my inner flame - the warmth.
A lot of truths I suddenly realized,
Which to the paper
I still haven't fully revealed."

At a beautiful place with mountain view,
From dust till dawn to dawn till dust,

Her smell's like rosemary perfume,
And golden hair's like sonagachi;
The lips are looking like amaryllis;
The face is like the morning sun;
Body is as soft as the balloon;
Her voice is as sweet as elaichi;
Brown eyes are like killing us –
And such beauty is only one!!
