One of the laws passed during the reign of Reza Shah was the law on the closing days of shops and offices.
In this way, not everyone could close their shop at their own will and without a valid reason.

One day, Reza Shah was crossing a street in his car when he noticed a shop closed.
He was upset and ordered that the owner of the shop be found and brought to him.
It was discovered that the shop owner was an Armenian alcohol salesman. The man was brought to Reza Shah.
The king asked, "Burnt father, why did you close your shop?" The Armenian man replied, "I will be your victim. Today is the day of the murder (martyrdom) of Muslim ibn Aqeel, and I thought it was not appropriate for me to sell alcohol on this day.

Reza Shah ordered an investigation and found that Hagh was selling Armenian sweat.
Then Reza Shah released the salesman and turned to his companions and said: In this country we have a real Muslim, and that is the Armenian Qarapat.

Years later, the great Iranian poet Parvin Etesami wrote the following in describing this story: واعظی)
پرسید از فرزند خویش هیچ میدانی
مسلمانی به چیست؟
صدق و بی آزاری و خدمت به خلق هم عبادت هم کلید زندگیست
گفت زین معیار اندر شهر ما یک مسلمان است آن هم ارمنیست)
a Preacher asked from his son do you know why called people muslim.
The truth and Unemployment and help to the people it’s pray and key of life
Son said with this Criterion in our city we have just an one Muslim and he is Armenian. #story #poem #parvinetesami #efi #Review
