Calculating the damages, of work done by savages
So many things we've endured without knowing the grades of damages.
Because we're blind to our own truth and heritage,
We seek solace in the midst of siege.
Black pride we call it
Even when we can, we've been told we can't do it.
Stripped of our own very color,
We start to live without honor.
Afraid of what might be when we speak
We became a subject to bully.
Every life matters;
Be it black, white, Latinos.
That's when we can wake without the explosions of granada
If we can live as one,
We'll survive as one.

When all is said and done,
we will lie sprawled under the sun,
and recur the seasons of verdure and savory dew;
the ethereality of life anew.
When your fur coat turns dun,
and the fireflies, now, you shun,
we will bury our noses in tales, utopian yet blue
and strive to keep a clear hue, wiping a tear or two.
When the battle is won,
and the final curtain is drawn,
over your entrails, a new beginning will ensue.
It is airy tonight, my Canine,
Adieu.
