"कलम- The Pen Brood"
For since an eon, our family tree has acted together with the homo sapiens,
Our evolution began from merely, feather and ink, to Parkers, and Berkeley's held together at man's cufflink.
Such were the hours of 1930 when some human cleped László Bíró, fabricated our great descendant, uncle ballpoint;
And since then, amongst colors of the rainbow, our family and the humans are conjoint.
Such is our bond with this species,
Irrespective of caste or creed among any of them,
We, in every one of their pockets, own spaces alike harem.
The mortals funny, but are indeed a violent race,
For with pages some of them have signed with our blood;
We`ve witnessed scary massacres, leaving us in all in disgrace.
Having knowledge about the habits of man,
We could never grizzle to them.
For, some would keep us with dignity, while some realizing our importance only at the conclusions of their plan.
Amidst many, with some, we pen were known to have formed such an especial bond,
Those souls were known to have won the hearts of millions with just their writing of pen,
With men like these, humanity and the pen ancestry were never conned.
People, a few betwixt many,
People for whom associates were only hard work with thy clique of pen and paper,
Such, to the world, were known, be it whether by the name Missile Man or Swar Kokila, magnificent was their milestone.
We pen, have never boasted about our strength,
While many, have also contrasted us some mighty swords;
No matter how sharper the blade be, for wiser are the ones who always choose a pen, for a somewhat satisfactory consequence.
Such are the chronicles of the pen, apropos every persona trait of these earthlings;
For their stories behold qualities like grit, curiosity, optimism, and gratitude.
Some are already apprised, while many are yet to be told!
