A Date

I woke up early morning,
Excited for some place,

Took the shower,
Cleaned up all,
Was pending up for days,

Became a perfet dapper,
My lil bro saw me once,

Hugged my father,
Kissed my mom,
For him just lovely glance,

Walking on the surface,
Was floating on the moon,

With pumping heart,
And nervous thought,
Hoping to see her soon,

So far its past an hour,
She hasn't shown a sign,

Pick the phone,
And make a call,
She meant this by design?

My notions just got darker,
And hope has gone so bleak,

With steamy eyes,
And shattered voice,
Why me? Sighting the peak,

When all the odds are gone,
And everything was fake,

I hold my views,
And shut the few,
Settled to stay awake,

Here she was all smiling,
And blushing from some reach,

I wondered,
How this happened,
Did you just heard my wish?

My reason for her tardy,
Has proven to be wrong,

Bleary thoughts,
My broken watch,
A singer to unplayed song.
