Reports indicate that political prisoners transferred from Evin and Fashafuyeh to Ghezel Hesar’s solitary units (Ward 35, Unit 3) are facing systematic abuse and inhumane conditions. Detainees, including Mir-Yousef Younesi, Vahid Gol-Sorkh, and Mohsen Pirayesh, were subjected to "Ghapani" handcuffing, shackles, and severe beatings during transit.
At Ghezel Hesar, guards forcibly shaved the prisoners' heads and reportedly assaulted them with pipes. Mohsen Pirayesh and Soheil Arabi required hospitalization due to injuries; both were returned to isolation without family contact or fresh air. Held in cramped 10-square-meter cells, these individuals remain denied basic rights like phone calls. While Mir-Yousef Younesi was recently moved to the political ward, the Islamic Republic regime’s use of physical violence and total isolation highlights a deepening human rights crisis and a complete lack of medical and legal safeguards within the prison system.
