Partially, that's why I returned back to 8.1.

Power Settings, please.

"Here's the Win10 UI."

More, please.

"OK, here's the Win7 UI, with the settings I just showed you, rearranged slightly."

More, please.

"OK, OK, here's the WinXP UI, with those AGAIN, plus even more we couldn't be bothered porting to either newer UI."

I've noticed recently that Little Snitch gives me this kind of rule requests for some applications, and it's impossible to set the rule to be valid forever.

Having googled for "App Translocation", I discovered that it is enough just to move the application in question with Finder (apparently, that's important) somewhere and back and then it will run normally, and Little Snitch will allow you to create "forever" rules for it.

I mostly use ForkLift, so if it's really about Finder, then probably that's how I got this app being "stuck" in Translocation mode.

It happened again with another application, and turns out Finder is not a strict requirement - moving the application to some other folder and back with the very same ForkLift also "removes" the App Translocation mode just fine.

Now my guess is that App Translocation is applied to applications extracted from archives. Well, to be precise, in this case it was an application inside a disk image inside an archive.
OSL airport, it's 2019, can you do something about your Wi-Fi (SSID:AIRPORT)? I mean, 57% of packets lost - don't you think it's a bit too much?

Oh, so with Mac OS 10.14.4 Photos are back to preview with Space, reverting to the way it was before? What was the point then in breaking that by introducing Enter, contrary to the rest of the system?

Meanwhile, turned out that Telegram Instant View has a version 2.1 now. What a nice surprise, which I discovered by openning one of my templates:

Version 1.0 is outdated. Please update your template to the last version 2.1

I tried "updating" the template, but it immediately broke, so I reverted back to 1.0. It can wait till when I have time for that (never).

Some tiny creations I've come up with recently:

1. A Mac OS service for getting media information about streams in a video file, mostly in order to find out whether it has subtitles;
2. An Alfred workflow that shortens URLs using TinyURL.

Finally found the time to investigate how to connect to the internet via Huawei E3372 modem on Mac OS using only the native tools.
