Victoria Azad’s Response to Reza Pahlavi’s Letter to Trump

The public letter by #Reza_Pahlavi to Donald #Trump is less an indication of political ties or real influence than it is evidence of the absence of such a relationship. In real power politics, when an effective channel and mutual trust exist, messages are not made public; they are pursued behind the scenes through formal and informal decision-making networks.
The public release of this letter should therefore be interpreted as an attempt at visibility and self-promotion in the public sphere—a message that effectively says, “I exist, look at me.” Had there been a genuine, ongoing working relationship with Trump’s team, such a letter would have neither been necessary nor made public.
Moreover, Reza Pahlavi’s claim to represent the people of Iran and to have been entrusted with a “great responsibility,” in the absence of any legitimacy-conferring mechanism, collective structure, or verifiable consensus, resembles political self-appointment far more than genuine representation. In international politics, such claims not only fail to generate weight, but can seriously undermine the speaker’s credibility.
Likewise, the reference to a “clear plan for a stable transition,” without presenting a framework, identified actors, guarantees, or a roadmap, remains a vague assertion. For pragmatic policymakers, promises of this kind carry no operational value.
In conclusion:
1.This letter demonstrates that there is no political relationship whatsoever between Reza Pahlavi and Donald Trump.
2.It is a sign of an effort to acquire legitimacy from outside in order to compensate for the absence of real standing inside— a text with primarily media value rather than genuine political weight.

This is the manner of speech of someone who considers himself a leader of the transition. Not even six days had passed before Reza Pahlavi denied his own call in an interview with @CBSNews.
The journalist asked: Do you accept responsibility for the deaths of all these people?
He replied: As I said, this is a war to achieve freedom, and it has casualties. “But I did not ask the nation to come into the streets and fight the regime. That was not my intention. Rather, it was the people who called my name in the streets and asked me to do something.”
In reality, Reza Pahlavi took no responsibility for his actions and instead shifted the responsibility onto #Trump. He went on to say that the people of Iran went into the streets in the hope of Trump’s help, that people even named streets after Trump, and that he is responsible for this situation — and now Trump must act to bring down the regime.
#Reza_Pahlavi effectively admitted that he has no real influence among the people, and that they went into the streets in the hope of, and in response to, Trump’s lead.

ووان و لکسوس که به شوخی خودشان را مشاوران صدراعظم آلمان، معرفی کرده بودند، با او تماس گرفتند. یکی از آنها خودش را «آدولف» معرفی کرد و حتی جلوی دوربین طوری لباس پوشیده بود که شبیه آدولف هیتلر به نظر برسد. اصولا همه میدانند که در آلمان هیچکس نام آدولف را انتخاب نمیکند، با وجود این علائم کاملاً عجیب و غیرواقعی، پهلوی هیچ تردیدی به خود راه نداد و متوجه ساختگی بودن صحته نشد، ساده لوحی او تا حدی پیش رفت که خوانساری ادامه گفتگورا قطع کرد. طبعا این جلسه را مشاوران او برایش تدارک داده بودند. آنها هم متوجه شده اند که رضا پهلوی دچار کهولت مغزی شده و قدرت تشخیص ندارد.
طنزپردازهای جعلی ادعا کرد که آلمان آماده است در یک حمله نظامی علیه ایران شرکت کند. رضا پهلوی از این ایده استقبال کرد و گفت: «فقط اسرائیلیها و آمریکاییها نباید شرکت کنند. کشورهای بیشتری باید به این نبرد بپیوندند. خوشحالم که آلمان چنین موضع سختی گرفته است.»

Carl Gustaf (born April 30, 1946) was 25 years old in 1971, the year of the Persepolis celebrations. At that time:
• He was not yet king
• He was only the Crown Prince of Sweden
• The reigning monarch was Gustaf VI Adolf
• He became king in 1973
Reza Pahlavi (born October 31, 1960) was just 10 years old at the time.
Is it really credible that a 10-year-old child—whose level of English at the time is unknown—held a meaningful conversation with a 25-year-old European crown prince about the future of their nations?
This sounds far more like retrospective embellishment than a factual account.
And yet, when we point out these inconsistencies, we’re told not to “disrespect the Shah.” The reality is simpler: this is what happens when someone behaves like a wind-up toy—repeating pre-written lines without critical reflection.
