Thanks to bob Preston.....Went to the NMA today (every year or so to visit a friend), but this time a lady pointed out the wreath shown. I attended this funeral in Silent Valley, I have a vague recollection of as many as 17 guys being buried, but never knew their names, so was confused when I saw how many names were on the wreath.

We buried one of our mate's there ln 1959,l was in the fireing party over over his grave, very sad part of my life.

I was a burial part of one from 19 thrill squadron from 25 miles into the desert camp named nizwa.in 1961 and was shaken at the amount of cement grave stones around silent valley and how quite it was except to the amount of the bizarre called synthesis flying around now I hear its nice and they take tourists to visit the graves
