Across Western Europe, people who say they personally know a Muslim are generally more likely than others to have positive opinions of Muslims and their religion, according to a recent Pew Research Center study in 15 countries. مؤسسه اسلامی و غیرانتفاعی جاده ابریشم با هدف ارتقای هنرهای فرهنگی، نخستین شرکت تئاتر حرفه‌ای مسلمانان کانادا را پاییز امسال در مونترال راه اندازی کرده است. اولین تئاتر این مجموعه، نمایش انتقادی "جنگجویان داخلی" است که از 27 سپتامبر تا 6 اکتبر 2018 در سالن مجموعه Espace Knox به روی صحنه رفت.

The Silk Road Institute, a non-profit Muslim organization dedicated to promoting cultural arts, launched Canada’s first professional Muslim theater company this fall in Montreal.
The company’s first production was the critically-acclaimed play, The Domestic Crusaders, played at Espace Knox from September 27 to October 6, 2018.
The Silk Road Theatre will be dedicated to sharing diverse narratives from within Muslim communities with the intention of building bridges of understanding and dialogue with wider Canadian society...

این کارگاه که توسط دانشکده تحصیلات تکمیلی جوامع و فرهنگهای اسلامی برلین (BGSMCS) و دانشگاه کمبریج برگزار می‌شود و مرکز مطالعات اسلامی (CIS) و مؤسسه Woolf از حامیان آن می‌باشند به بررسی دقیق و بحث در مورد تحلیل و پیامدهای اخلاق و روزمرگی در مطالعه اسلام و جوامع مسلمان در اروپا می‌پردازد.
