مرکز تحقیقات پیو (Pew Research Center) از اتباع 15 کشور اروپای غربی پیرامون "چند‌فرهنگی" و "پلورالیسم" با تأکید خاص بر نوع نگاه آنها به مسلمانان و یهودیان نظرسنجی کرده است. در این نظرسنجی از مردم خواسته شده تا نظر خود را در مورد میزان پذیرش یک مسلمان یا یهودی به عنوان خویشاوند یا همسایه و همین‌طور شعارهای ضد مسلمانان و یهودیان در اروپا ابراز کنند. مطابق نتایج این تحقیق، میزان پذیرش یهودیان بیشتر از مسلمانان بوده است و میزان نفرت از مسلمانان در افراد با سطح تحصیلات پایین‌تر بیشتر از دیگران بوده است...

✅ گشودن درهای مسجد ویکتوریا بر روی مسیحیان وحدت‌گرا پس از تخریب کلیسایشان
مدیریت مرکز اسلامی ویکتوریا در لندن، طی دیدار با گروهی از مسیحیان وحدت‌گرای جهانی از آنان دعوت کرد تا از بخشی از فضای مسجد برای انجام مراسم عبادی‌شان استفاده کنند. کلیسای این گروه به علت تصادف یک خودرو با قسمتی از ساختمان، آسیب دیده و غیر قابل استفاده شده بود.

On the one hand, religious communities have begun to adapt to trends of urban change such as sub-urbanization and de-industrialization by establishing places of worship in shopping malls, former industrial warehouses, newly established industrial estates and other commercial zones. On the other hand, and especially in Europe, a rapidly increasing number of traditional church buildings are closed and repurposed as a consequence of dropping membership and resulting financial pressures.

The Archbishop explained that over the last five years the Vatican Library has become involved in a vast undertaking to digitize the manuscripts belonging to its catalogue. Currently they have about 15,000 of their collection uploaded and ready to view. If they keep pace at 3,000 uploads per year, they should have the whole library of 80,000 manuscripts scanned by 2041. ✅ مدارس اسلامی دوره ابتدایی هلند در جستجوی توازنی صحیح
ماریته بیمستِربوئر دانشجوی دوره دکترا در رساله خود در خصوص مدارس اسلامی مقطع ابتدایی هلند چنین عنوان می‌کند که این مدارس به برنامه ادغام مسلمانان در جامعه هلند کمک می‌نمایند.
این مدارس با ایجاد حس تعلق به جامعه، کودکان را برای زندگی در جامعه هلند آماده می‌سازند.
وی معتقد است این پیش‌داوری که مدارس ابتدایی اسلامی مانع ادغام این کودکان در جامعه می‌باشند نادرست است و تصویر غالبی که در رسانه‌های این کشور از مدارس اسلامی ارائه می‌شود تنها مبتنی بر سه مدرسه اسلامی سخت‌گیر می‌باشد. در حالی که 52 مدرسه اسلامی در مقطع دبستان در هلند فعالیت می‌کنند که تنوع زیادی دارند و با این سه مدرسه شناخته‌شده متفاوت می‌باشند.
او عنوان کرده است که تفاوت این مدارس از انتخاب‌های دروس اختیاری نشأت می‌گیرد و اکثر این مدارس در دروس اختیاری خود به نیازهای دانش‌آموزان نوجوان در فرهنگ جامعه هلند توجه زیادی می‌نمایند و حتی به موضوعات حساسی همچون استفاده از آلات موسیقی در کلاس‌های موسیقی و نیز تنوع جنسیتی می‌پردازند؛ در حالی که این موضوعات برای برخی جریان‌های اسلامی بسیار مناقشه‌انگیز می‌باشند.

Islamic primary schools contribute to the integration of Muslims in Dutch society, concludes Marietje Beemsterboer in her PhD dissertation. The schools offer children a sense of belonging and prepare them for Dutch society. She states that the prejudice that Islamic primary schools impede the integration of children is incorrect…The dominant image of Islamic primary schools in the media is based on the three strict Islamic primary schools that are located in the Netherlands. In total, the Netherlands is home to 52 Islamic schools.
Islamic primary schools differ widely. Those differences are expressed in the schools’ choices. The vast majority of schools focus a lot of attention on Dutch society’s requirements of young pupils in their optional lessons, Beemsterboer discovered. The school is continuously asked to consider its options on sensitive themes such as using certain instruments during music lessons (some streams of Islam are against playing of and listening to particular musical instruments) and a topic such as sexual diversity.
