بر اساس اطلاعات رسیده به مرکز اسناد حقوق بشر ایران، پرنیا شاد بجارکناری، ۲۳ ساله، که در جریان تجمعات اعتراضی ۱۸ دی‌ماه در سبزه‌میدان رشت حضور داشته، پس از پایان اعتراضات در شامگاه همان روز، در مقابل منزل خود در محله رشتیان توسط مأموران امنیتی کشته شده است.

همچنین بنا به روایت همین منبع، میثم زارعی بجارکناری، ۳۹ ساله و پسرعمه او که در بازار رشت مشغول به کار بوده، شب بعد در محدوده بازار رشت توسط ماموران حکومتی به قتل رسیده است. با توجه به شرایط امنیتی حاکم، محدودیت شدید دسترسی آزاد به اطلاعات و فشار بر خانواده‌ها، امکان تأیید مستقل و کامل جزئیات این گزارش در حال حاضر وجود ندارد.

Majid Estiri, a 25-year-old resident of the Ab-Mator neighborhood of Tehran, was killed on the evening of January 9, 2026, as a result of direct gunfire by state security forces. Nearly one month has passed since the arrest of Kamran Rezaei, 28, in Fardis, Karaj, by security forces. No official or reliable information has been provided to his family regarding his whereabouts, physical condition, or even whether he remains alive.

According to information received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Kamran Rezaei was arrested on the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026, at approximately 11:30 p.m., in front of the Fardis police station in Karaj. He was reportedly held initially at Ghezel Hesar Prison and subsequently transferred to Kachoui Prison in Alborz Province. Since his transfer, however, no contact with his family, access to legal counsel, or official information from the responsible authorities regarding his location or condition has been provided.

This continued silence and lack of transparency, in light of numerous credible and alarming reports of ill-treatment of detainees and suspicious deaths in detention facilities, has significantly heightened concerns for Kamran Rezaei’s safety and may constitute enforced disappearance.

The health of Rojin Hosseini-Nejad, a 20-year-old Baha’i citizen detained in Kerman Prison, has been reported as serious and at significant risk.

She suffers from liver cirrhosis, and according to both specialist physicians and the prison doctor, she is not medically fit to remain in detention. Continued lack of access to specialized medical care may pose a serious threat to her life. She requires urgent medical attention.

Rojin Hosseini-Nejad was arrested on January 24, 2026, by security forces at her family home in Kerman. Reports indicate that Kokab Badaghi, a labor activist, has gone missing after appearing at the Ministry of Intelligence office in Izeh, Khuzestan Province. She was reportedly summoned to provide explanations regarding the charge of “disseminating propaganda against the government.”

According to her family, in the early hours of the morning on January 26, 2026, individuals identifying themselves as affiliated with the IRGC Intelligence Organization entered the family home by climbing over a wall, without presenting identification. They confiscated a mobile phone, a laptop, her birth certificate, and other personal belongings and documents.

Following this incident, Kokab Badaghi was instructed to report to the Ministry of Intelligence office at 8:00 a.m. the same day to follow up on her case. به گفته خانواده، دوشنبه ۶ بهمن، ساعت ۵ بامداد افرادی که خود را وابسته به اطلاعات سپاه معرفی کرده‌اند، بدون ارائه مدارک شناسایی و با ورود غیرقانونی به منزل از طریق دیوار وارد خانه شده‌اند. این افراد تلفن همراه، لپ‌تاپ، شناسنامه و سایر وسایل و مدارک شخصی را با خود برده‌اند.
پس از این رویداد، به کوکب بداغی اعلام شده بود که ساعت ۸ صبح همان روز برای پیگیری پرونده خود به اداره اطلاعات مراجعه کند. او پیش‌تر نیز به دلیل فعالیت‌های صنفی‌اش در چند نوبت به این نهاد احضار شده بود.
با این حال، پس از آخرین مراجعه، او به منزل بازنگشته و وضعیت جسمی، حقوقی و محل نگهداری‌اش همچنان در هاله‌ای از ابهام قرار دارد.

According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Shakila Ghasemi, a Bahá’í citizen, was arrested at her private residence on February 2, 2026, by agents who identified themselves as affiliated with the prosecutor’s office, without presenting a judicial warrant.
The source said that approximately 12 plainclothes agents entered the home and conducted a hours-long, comprehensive search. During the search, agents confiscated personal belongings, including a mobile phone, and stated they were searching for firearms—a claim the family says had no basis, noting that no weapons were found. Despite this, Ghasemi was handcuffed and transferred to an undisclosed location after the search concluded.
In the days following her arrest, the family received no information about her whereabouts. After several days of inquiries, they learned that she is being held by IRGC Intelligence. To date, no formal charges, judicial order, or access to legal counsel have been communicated to the family.

The Iranian daily Shargh has reported that the prosecutor’s office in Shiraz has made the conversion of temporary detention orders for recently arrested protesters conditional on the payment of substantial financial deposits.

According to the report, families of detainees arrested before January 8 were required to pay 100 million tomans (approximately 650 USD), while those detained after that date were ordered to pay 300 million tomans (approximately 2,000 USD), with the funds deposited into an account held by the Shiraz Municipality.

Shargh reported that lawyers in Shiraz as well as the mayor of the city have confirmed the accuracy of this information. Legal professionals described the collection of such funds as lacking legal basis, stating that demanding any payment during the preliminary investigation phase, prior to a final court ruling, is contrary to the law. The mayor of Shiraz, however, told the newspaper that the measure was carried out on the order of judicial authorities, adding that the municipality played no role in the decision and that the account functions as a judicial deposit, with withdrawals permitted only upon a court order.
Although reports indicate that the practice has been halted in recent days and the designated account has been frozen, it remains unclear who currently holds the funds previously collected from detainees’ families, and how—or when—those amounts will be returned.

روزنامه شرق گزارش داده است که دادسرای شیراز برای تبدیل قرار بازداشت موقت بازداشت‌ شدگان اعتراضات اخیر، خانواده‌ها را ملزم به پرداخت ودیعه‌ های سنگین کرده است. بر اساس این گزارش، برای افرادی که پیش از ۱۸ دی‌ ماه بازداشت شده‌اند مبلغ ۱۰۰ میلیون تومان و برای بازداشت‌ شدگان پس از این تاریخ مبلغ ۳۰۰ میلیون تومان تعیین شده که باید به حساب شهرداری شیراز واریز شود.

Based on information received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC), the body of Ali Heidari, a 20-year-old man, was returned to his family in Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan Province, after approximately one month during which his whereabouts were unknown. Ali Heidari had been shot and injured by security forces during protests in Mashhad on January 8, 2026.

According to witnesses, Ali Heidari’s mobile phone fell to the ground at the scene of the shooting and was later recovered by a civilian and returned to his family. The same witness reported that Ali Heidari, though wounded and still alive, was apprehended by security forces and taken away in a private vehicle.

Throughout the approximately one-month period of his enforced disappearance, Ali Heidari’s family made repeated efforts to ascertain his fate by contacting various authorities and searching multiple facilities. His body was ultimately handed over to the family at Behesht-e Reza Cemetery in Mashhad, bearing visible gunshot wounds to the forehead.

Videos from Ali Heidari’s burial ceremony in the village of Virani, Binalud County, Razavi Khorasan Province, have been published on social media. Some reports have characterized the cause of his death as an “execution.” To date, however, no independent information has been provided regarding the circumstances of his detention, the conditions under which he was held, or the precise cause and manner of his death.

Ali Heidari’s death reflects a broader and deeply troubling pattern documented across Iran, in which individuals detained by security forces have died under suspicious circumstances while in custody. His case arises amid the ongoing detention of thousands of protesters, many of whom remain incommunicado, with their locations and conditions of confinement undisclosed.

In light of repeated public statements by Iranian authorities endorsing “harsh” and “forceful” treatment of detained protesters, serious and ongoing concerns persist regarding the protection of detainees’ right to life, physical integrity, health, and other fundamental human rights.
