According to information received from an informed source, Rezvaneh Sadeghi, who was arrested nearly two weeks ago, spent several days in a security detention facility. The source said that due to injuries sustained, her physical condition is critical and she is in urgent need of medical care.

Sadeghi has recently been transferred to solitary confinement at Evin Prison and is facing the charge of “moharebeh” (waging war against God). Sources close to the case report that a case has been fabricated against her and a death sentence has been issued. According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC), the trial of three Baha’i women—Shideh Tavakoli, Sheila Tavakoli, and Sheida Rouhani—Scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The three individuals face charges of membership in groups formed with the intent to undermine national security (Article 499), engaging in propaganda activities related to the Baha’i faith (Article 500 bis), and propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran (Article 500).

The three women were arrested on May 27, 2025, following violent raids by security forces on their homes, carried out without the presentation of a judicial warrant. During the operation, security agents conducted thorough searches of the residences and confiscated personal belongings, including books related to the Baha’i faith, mobile phones, computers, tablets, gold, and foreign currency. In one of the homes, property deeds for a house and a vehicle were also seized.

بر اساس گزارش رسیده به مرکز اسناد حقوق بشر ایران، دادگاه سه زن بهایی به نام‌های شیده توکلی، شیلا توکلی و شیدا روحانی روز شنبه ۱۸ بهمن ۱۴۰۴ برگزار خواهد شد. این سه شهروند با اتهام‌های عضویت در گروه‌های برهم‌زننده امنیت کشور (ماده ۴۹۹)، فعالیت تبلیغی مرتبط با آیین بهایی (ماده ۵۰۰ مکرر) و تبلیغ علیه نظام جمهوری اسلامی ایران (ماده ۵۰۰) روبه‌رو هستند.

این سه شهروند روز ششم خرداد ۱۴۰۴ در پی یورش خشونت‌آمیز مأموران امنیتی به منازلشان، بدون ارائه حکم قضایی بازداشت شدند. در جریان این عملیات، مأموران اقدام به تفتیش کامل منازل کرده و شماری از وسایل شخصی از جمله کتاب‌های مرتبط با آیین بهایی، تلفن‌های همراه، رایانه، تبلت، طلا و ارز را توقیف کردند. همچنین در یکی از منازل، اسناد مالکیت خانه و خودرو نیز ضبط شده است.

Sadegh Ghorbani, 24, was killed by live ammunition during the protests in the Qaleh Hasan Khan area of Tehran (Shahr-e Qods) on January 8, 2026. According to information received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC), he was shot in the main street of his neighborhood (Sar Qanat).

Government forces reportedly removed his body immediately from the scene and pressured his family to report the cause of death as a “traffic accident.” The body was reportedly released only after the family signed a formal pledge and accepted the narrative provided by the local governor’s office; otherwise, they would have been denied access to the body.

Sadegh Ghorbani’s remains were buried at Behesht Fatemeh Cemetery in Qaleh Hasan Khan (Shahr-e Qods). The family received the body on January 12, the funeral was held on January 13, and the mourning ceremony took place on January 16.

صادق قربانی، جوانی ۲۴ ساله، در جریان اعتراضات روز ۱۸ دی‌ ماه ۱۴۰۴ در منطقه قلعه حسن‌ خان تهران (شهر قدس) بر اثر شلیک گلوله جنگی جان خود را از دست داد. بنا بر اطلاعات رسیده به مرکز اسناد حقوق بشر ایران، وی در خیابان اصلی محل سکونتش (سرقنات) هدف تیراندازی قرار گرفت.

نیروهای حکومتی پیکر او را بلافاصله از محل حادثه منتقل کرده و خانواده اش را تحت فشار قرار دادند تا علت مرگ را «تصادف» اعلام کنند. تحویل جسد تنها پس از امضای تعهد از سوی خانواده و پذیرش روایت اعلام‌ شده توسط فرمانداری انجام شد و در غیر این صورت خانواده از دریافت پیکر محروم می‌شدند.

پیکر صادق قربانی در بهشت فاطمه در قلعه حسن‌خان (شهر قدس) به خاک سپرده شد. خانواده وی در ۲۲ دی‌ ماه جسد را تحویل گرفتند، مراسم تدفین در ۲۳ دی برگزار شد و مراسم سوگواری نیز در ۲۶ دی‌ ماه برگزار گردید.

با توجه به شرایط امنیتی حاکم، محدودیت‌های گسترده در دسترسی به اطلاعات و اختلال‌های ارتباطی در کشور، امکان تأیید مستقل و کامل جزئیات این گزارش در حال حاضر وجود ندارد.

Nahid Vaez, 34, a resident of Zibashahr in Qazvin Province, was shot in the head and neck by law enforcement forces on the evening of January 9, 2026, while attending protests with her husband. She died as a result of her injuries. Her husband was also wounded, sustaining a gunshot injury to his leg.

According to information received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, law enforcement and security forces immediately removed Nahid Vaez’s body from the scene. They prevented its release to her family. The report states that the body was only returned after the payment of a sum described as diyyeh (blood money), reportedly around 400 million tomans. ناهید واعظ، ۳۴ ساله و ساکن زیبا شهر قزوین، شامگاه ۱۹ دی‌ ماه ۱۴۰۴، هنگام حضور در تجمعات اعتراضی همراه با همسرش، توسط نیروهای انتظامی هدف تیراندازی مستقیم به ناحیه سر و گردن قرار گرفت و جان خود را از دست داد. همسر وی نیز در این حادثه از ناحیه پا زخمی شد.

بر اساس اطلاعات رسیده به مرکز اسناد حقوق بشر ایران، نیروهای انتظامی و امنیتی بلافاصله پس از وقوع حادثه، پیکر ناهید واعظ را از محل انتقال داده و از تحویل آن به خانواده جلوگیری کردند. این گزارش حاکی است که تحویل جسد تنها پس از پرداخت مبلغی تحت عنوان دیه، معادل حدود ۴۰۰ میلیون تومان ممکن شد. همچنین خانواده از برگزاری مراسم عمومی سوگواری منع شده‌اند.

According to information received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Parnia Shad Bejarkenari, 23, was killed by security forces outside her home in the Rashtian neighborhood of Rasht, Gilan Province, on the evening of January 8, 2026. She reportedly participated in protests in Rasht’s Sabzeh Meydan earlier that night. At the time of her death, no protests were ongoing.

The same source also reports that Bejarkenari’s cousin, Meisam Zarei Bejarkenari, 39, who worked in the Rasht Bazaar, was killed the following night, January 9, by state security forces in the vicinity of the Bazaar.
