Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence agents raided the home of the Siavashi family and arrested 19-year-old Baha’i citizen Anqa Siavashi without presenting a judicial warrant. The raid took place while family members were at home and several guests were also present.
According to information received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC), agents confiscated a wide range of the family’s personal belongings during the operation, including photo albums, toys, books, religious images, gold, and other household items. All electronic devices, including a modem, computer, laptop, and mobile phones, were also seized.
The belongings of guests present at the home were also searched. Security agents confiscated some of their personal property as well, including mobile phones and jewelry.
The raid took place in Shiraz, Fars Province, at approximately 10:20 pm on April 7.
