On Thursday morning, May 7, 2026, security forces raided the home of Faramarz and Parivash Nadafian, a Baha’i couple living in Shiraz, and confiscated a number of their personal belongings following a search of the residence.

According to HRANA, agents entered the couple’s home after presenting a handwritten warrant and proceeded to search the property. During the raid, mobile phones, a computer case, several books, as well as gold and jewelry belonging to the family were seized.

As of the time of this report, it remains unclear which security body carried out the operation or on what grounds the search and confiscations were conducted.

The incident comes amid growing pressure on members of the Baha’i community across Iran. In a related case two days earlier, on May 5, Flora Samadani (Naeimi), a Baha’i resident of Yazd, was arrested by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and taken to an undisclosed location. No information has yet been released regarding the reasons for her arrest or her whereabouts.
