According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Saeed Naderi, a former player for the football clubs Pas Isfahan and Naft Tehran, together with his brother Ruhollah Naderi, a member of the National Workers’ Team and an employee of a private company, were arrested in the early hours of February 22, 2026, following a raid by security forces on their family home in Vahidieh, Shahriar County, Tehran Province. As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding their place of detention, the reasons for their arrest, or any charges filed against them.
