According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Ali Moradi, a 43-year-old tattoo artist and resident of Tehran who is the father of one daughter, was arrested on January 11, 2026, at his personal café in the city.

The report states that this citizen was initially transferred to Evin Prison under a one-month detention order on the charge of “disseminating propaganda against the Islamic Republic,” and after 19 days was moved to Greater Tehran Penitentiary.

After 46 days in custody, Mr. Moradi remains in a state of legal uncertainty, and no clear details have been made public regarding any additional charges or the status of legal proceedings against him.
