According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Mohammad Haghighi-Asl, a 21-year-old resident of Torbat-e Jam, was killed on January 8, 2026, after being shot directly in the heart by security forces.

Haghighi-Asl, who was the sole breadwinner for a family of four, had been working in Ramsar. According to the report, his body was handed over to his family only on the condition that he be officially described as a “Basiji” and a “martyr.”

The death certificate lists the cause of death as internal bleeding and related complications, rupture of internal organs in the chest cavity, and impact from a high-velocity hard object.

بر اساس گزارشی که به مرکز اسناد حقوق بشر ایران رسیده است، محمد حقیقی‌اصل، شهروند ۲۱ ساله اهل تربت‌جام، روز ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ بر اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای سرکوبگر به ناحیه قلب جان خود را از دست داد.

آقای حقیقی‌اصل، که نان‌آور یک خانواده چهار نفره بود، در شهر رامسر مشغول به کار بوده است. بنا بر این گزارش، پیکر این جوان تنها به شرط آنکه در مدارک رسمی از او به عنوان «بسیجی» و «شهید» یاد شود، به خانواده‌اش تحویل داده شد.

در گواهی فوت، علت مرگ «خونریزی داخلی و عوارض ناشی از آن، پارگی احشای داخلی قفسه سینه و اصابت جسم سخت پرشتاب» عنوان شده است.
