According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Mohammad-Parsa Amini, a 17-year-old resident of Karaj, Alborz Province, died on the evening of January 8, 2026, as a result of being struck by live ammunition.
As detailed in the report, he was shot in the Fardis district of Karaj while bending down to assist an injured individual. The bullet entered through his lower back and struck his heart. The family subsequently transferred his body from the clinic where he had been taken to their home, where it remained in the yard until the following morning, pending the completion of the required legal burial formalities. After four days, the family obtained the necessary burial permit and laid him to rest.
