On Tuesday, June 23, as the crackdown on Baha'i citizens in Shiraz continued, three members of the Baha'i community were arrested by security forces. Sima Septo and Nahid Falahati were detained at their homes and taken to an undisclosed location, while Saeed Hassani was arrested at his workplace and transferred to Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

According to published reports, security agents raided the homes of Sima Septo and Nahid Falahati on Tuesday morning and arrested both women. The authority responsible for their detention has not been identified, and no information has been released regarding their whereabouts or the reasons for their arrests. Their families also remain unaware of their condition.

On the same day, Saeed Hassani, a 37-year-old Baha'i citizen, was arrested by agents of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence at his workplace. According to available information, security agents later searched his home and confiscated several personal belongings, including his mobile phone and other electronic devices. He was subsequently transferred to Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

As of the time of writing, authorities have not disclosed the reasons for the arrests or any charges that may have been brought against the three Baha'i citizens.

Over the past several years, Iran's Baha'i community has faced persistent security crackdowns and judicial harassment. Reports by human rights organizations indicate that Baha'is continue to account for the largest share of documented violations of the rights of religious minorities in the country.
