According to a report received by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, Pouyan Gholami, a Baha’i citizen residing in Kerman, was arrested on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, following a raid by security forces on his workplace. During the arrest, agents also searched his home, confiscated several personal and communication devices, and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

To date, no information has been made available regarding the reasons for his arrest, his place of detention, or the charges brought against him.

In the aftermath of the January 2026 protests, reports indicate a renewed wave of arrests targeting Baha’i citizens, as well as the broadcast of forced confessions.
