Sara Shahbazi, a meteorology lecturer, was arrested by security forces on March 6. According to received reports, she was initially transferred to Sabzevar Prison, in Razavi Khorasan province, and, after a few days, moved to Torbat-e Heydarieh Prison.

Based on the latest available information, Ms. Shahbazi is currently being held in Torbat-e Heydarieh Prison, and there is no precise information regarding her physical condition or legal status. Sara Shahbazi is originally from the Bakhtiari community in Khuzestan Province.
