The Kremlin is ready not to hinder the United States from dominating in Venezuela in exchange for concessions from Washington on Ukraine. This was reported by Reuters.
The publication notes that the loss of an ally in Latin America is not critical for Moscow.
Russian media have happily picked up and amplified this hostile publication. They're used to it: they've been telling us about Russia's "plans to divide the world" with the US for years.
Well, I think the electorate will swallow it. Our electorate is unpretentious, they'll believe anything, and those who don't will be enlightened by Skabeeva and Solovyov.
As for those to whom this statement, this proposal of an impending division, is addressed, I think they'll laugh a lot and cynically. They'll either laugh or react accordingly. What division can you talk about with a country that's been at war for four years and can't win?
The United States has demonstrated that it's still a great power by doing this in one day! We've been struggling with Ukraine for four years. We suffered a humiliating defeat in #Syria, where we probably spent hundreds of billions of dollars, thousands of lives, and a huge amount of military equipment.
We suffered a defeat in #Libya, where we supported Marshal Haftar for many years, and now it turns out that he's not on our side at all, and that we actually supported the wrong people. We were kicked out of #Sudan, where we were going to build a meaningless, of course, but still a naval base.
Now it's Venezuela, where we've also wasted billions of dollars, where our soldiers have probably died, according to the United States, or at least employees of private military companies, according to the statement that our air defense system was there, which, I think, was serviced by our personnel, not the Venezuelans. And it was all in vain.
Well, sorry, but what's there to divide with us? Where to divide with us? It's not like there's any real division going on here with such efficiency of us.
I wouldn't want to live to see that.
When you make statements, gentlemen of the media, remember that you're not just being listened to by the so-called electorate, which, I repeat, will swallow anything after it's been told by your own propagandists, but also by people abroad. They hear it and just laugh. They laugh hysterically. And they draw conclusions.
There will be no division of the world with us. No one will talk to us until we win. Until we deal with the most important problem that threatens our very existence, with so-called #Ukraine. The longer we're stuck with it, the tougher the demands will become that are being made of us. And our defeat in #Venezuela will only harden the position of the United States, as Russia has once again been publicly humiliated.
We now have a cleanup operation in progress in Transnistria, the last remaining piece of the USSR, which held three referendums on reunification with #Russia, which the presidential administration three times failed to notice, chose not to notice in its time. And we're here worrying about Venezuela.
In general, I have to say that every thinking person, not just abroad, but also in Russia, understands how meaningless the claims to some division of the world are, how stupid they are, how empty they are.
Let's just hope that the people who say this are just lying. Because if they're serious, then they're complete idiots.
