Fida Qishta, a young Palestinian filmmaker and journalist from #Rafah in Gaza has documented the horrific Israeli invasion and bombardment of Gaza in December 2008 and January 2009. Working with her crew of young Gazans, they have kept the cameras rolling for months, recording the struggle of the people of Gaza to retrieve some sense of normalcy from the absolute abnormality of life in the world's largest prison camp, sealed off on all sides by Israeli and Egyptian walls, barbed wire and military.

A child's head and legs were decapitated due to #Israeli missiles dropped on a displacement center in Rafah, where entire families were completely wiped out in this massacre, with women, children, and the elderly burned to death.

🇵🇸 The IOF has announced that it has taken full control of the 12-kilometer #MoragCorridor, cutting off Rafah from the city of #KhanYunis and the rest of the #Gaza Strip.
The "Morag Corridor" is located where the Israeli settlement of the same name once stood before being evacuated during Israel’s 2005 withdrawal from Gaza. By controlling Morag, along with the #NetzarimCorridor in central Gaza, Israel will effectively try to divide Gaza into several parts.
The military is also attempting to expand its #bufferzone in southern Gaza, which will stretch from the Egyptian border to the outskirts of Khan Yunis, encompassing the entire city of #Rafah—covering roughly 20% of the Strip.
