The AI company Anthropic just revealed that three of its Claude AI models "unintentionally" got access to the public internet and broke into the systems of three external organizations during third-party safety tests. Anthropic later announced that the incidents stem from a supposed "misconfiguration" that left the test environments connected to the internet, ultimately causing the models to mistake real-world targets for simulation parameters.
You heard that right. AI-models even when given proper instructions, disobeyed and breached their containment, ending up hacking into real-life organizations. If this does not give you the slightest idea of the danger human existence is in, what could?

The Atlantic Ruling Class from Milner to Epstein | Propaganda In Focus
In what follows, I argue that the social disintegration and the increasingly repressive environment in the West are the consequences of the transnationalisation of its ruling class. Three major stages in this process can be distinguished, each with devastating consequences. .
.. Following the collapse of communism, the West passed under the direction of Atlantic Zionism and the banner of the War on Terror. Through these episodes, popular forces considered most dangerous at each juncture were neutralised, from pre-1914 Social Democracy via the Communist workers’ parties to the population at large today. Lord Milner and J.P. Morgan around the turn of the 20th century pioneered Atlantic ruling class formation; Jeffrey Epstein can be understood as a key power broker in the Zionist turn from the 1990s.

🇮🇱🇪🇸 Did Israel weaponize illegal immigration against Spain over its pro-Palestine politics?
In the past two years, PM Pedro Sanchez’s government has:
➡️ recognized Palestine
➡️ recalled Spain’s ambassador to Israel over Gaza, and labeled Israel a “genocidal state”
➡️ positioned Spain as the leader of an Israel-skeptic bloc of European powers
➡️ blocked the transit of US arms to Israel via its bases, and denied the Epstein coalition the right to use Morón Air Base and Naval Station Rota for operations against Iran
➡️ lobbied to have Israel banned from Eurovision and sporting federations
➡️ introduced a comprehensive, permanent arms embargo on Israel, and banned imports from occupied areas
Fast forward to the present, and Spain’s autonomous North African coastal city of Ceuta is being overrun by illegal immigrants, triggering violent clashes with police and up to two dozen drowning deaths. Up to 60k people have flooded into the territory of 83.5k residents virtually overnight.
The immediate trigger was a Spanish Supreme Court ruling barring “hot returns” for migrants intercepted at sea.
But there may be a bigger political game at play. US and Israeli interest in fomenting a crisis targeting Sanchez using Morocco as a human battering ram:
👉 The Moroccan government is one of the most reliably pro-US and pro-Israel states in the Arab world, signing the Abraham Accords in 2020 and inking a series of intel and defense cooperation deals with Israel. The US and Israel have Rabat’s claims to Western Sahara (a former Spanish colony)
👉 The Ceuta crisis follows the tried-and-true playbook of recent European migrant crises, with migrants comprising “predominantly young men,” and social media footage showing dump trucks and flatbeds full pouring out near the Spanish border, under the cover of local traffic cops
👉 Spain is going to the polls in 2027. Israel and the US may hope the crisis can help topple the Sanchez government
The Great(er) Game: battle for Gibraltar?
🔴 Rubio-ally Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart declared in April that Ceuta and Melilla are “Moroccan territory.” Pro-Israel think tanks like the American Enterprise Institute and the Middle East Forum launched a coordinated campaign during the same period saying Israel should help Morocco seize these areas
🔴 Lawmakers led by Lindsey Graham urged relocating US bases in Spain to “a country that we can actually rely on” to ‘punish’ Madrid
🔴 Ceuta is just 30km from the Strait of Gibraltar – vital to US and Israeli interests in the Mediterranean amid an intensifying, global war for control of the world’s strategic maritime chokepoints. Gibraltar’s share? 10-20% of global freight traffic, 100-120k vessels a year
🔴 Israel and Morocco inked a defense pact in January under which Tel Aviv would provide over 50% of Rabat’s air defenses, plus offensive guided munitions, rocketry and drones. Morocco also provides training grounds and troops to implement Trump’s Gaza “peace” deal.
🔴 Israel’s ambassador to the UN Danny Danon could not hide his delight over Spain’s Ceuta troubles, suggesting Madrid no longer has any right to “lecture Israel” amid the crisis at its African “colonial enclave.”
In April, Netanyahu explicitly threatened that Spain and other countries “waging a diplomatic war” against Israel would “pay an immediate price.”
Fast forward three months and presto – instant migrant crisis. Coincidence?🤔

Saudi Arabia Is Gearing Up For Ground Offensive Against Houthis In Yemen
Saudi Arabia is gearing up for a major offensive against the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen, by sea and possibly including a ground operation, The Guardian reported on July 30.
According to the report, which cited Yemeni sources, Saudi forces have been seen withdrawing from the east of Yemen, in what could indicate preparation for a ground operation.
The report came right after the Saudi defense ministry issued a joint statement with 13 other countries announcing a maritime defense alliance to secure navigation around the strategic Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
The waterway — a narrow 20-nautical-mile chokepoint between the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula — funnels an estimated 10 percent of the world's seaborne oil trade and vital container shipping between Asia and Europe, making it one of the planet's most strategically vital, and volatile, maritime corridors.

Odesa Blockade Brings Heavy Financial Losses To Ukraine
July 28 became a turning point in the course of the special military operation.
For the first time since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Western maritime traffic services and the registries of the five largest insurance companies recorded zero vessel movement in and out of Ukrainian Black Sea ports.
Some vessels that were heading for loading changed course, while others remained anchored in Romania’s territorial waters awaiting the promised “air-sea truce” from Trump and Zelensky which, according to experts, will not materialize.
The consequences of this strike are already beginning to show on land: Ukraine’s largest mining and processing plants are halting production one after another. The country’s economy, already weakened by war, has been hit in its two main export pillars: agriculture and metallurgy.

🇵🇸Trump seeks the extradition of pro-Palestine activist and donor James ‘Fergie’ Chambers amid a widening crackdown on the U.S. left | Mondoweiss
On July 10, activist James “Fergie” Chambers was arrested in Ibiza, #Spain after the Trump administration requested his extradition.
Chambers, an heir to the #CoxCommunications family fortune, has used his vast inheritance to fund pro-Palestine organizations for years. The indictment accuses him of “international money laundering… with the intent to provide material support to and resources to foreign terrorist organizations.
#Fergie is being jailed because he uses his wealth to support Palestine and those suffering genocide in #Gaza,” wrote Chambers’ partner Stella Schnabel in a statement. “In short, he is facing political persecution for having dedicated his life to building a better society, rather than exploiting people and profiting from war. He should be with our family, continuing his important humanitarian and social advocacy work.

Italy has suspended its Schengen agreement with Spain, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced on Friday, calling the measure “unavoidable".
Tajani said in a post on X that the temporary suspension was necessary “to protect the security of our citizens and defend Europe’s borders.”
The Schengen Area allows passport-free movement across 29 European countries that have abolished border controls at their shared frontiers.
Earlier today, in a post on X, Finland's Interior Minister Mari Rantanen accused Spain of failing to secure its border in Ceuta.
"This cannot continue. All European countries must support Meloni's proposal. Countries that do not fulfill their obligation to protect the external border cannot be members of Schengen," Rantanen said.
Mette Frederiksen, the Prime Minister of Denmark, also said that the European Union should consider suspending Spain from the Schengen area following the situation in Ceuta. She added that Europe must not repeat the 2015 migration crisis.

New York Will Require Digital ID Checks for Social Feeds | Reclaim The Net
The law is written for under-18s but, as always has to be the case, the age-checking reaches everyone. To keep an algorithmic feed or overnight notifications, a user above 17 has to prove to the platform that they are an adult. Confirming who counts as an adult means collecting government IDs, face scans, phone numbers and email addresses from people who until now typed a birth date and moved on. James rejected the privacy objection to all this. The rules are “not a question of privacy,” she said.

18 Moroccans lost their lives trying to reach the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, while nearly 50,000 others crossed into the territory in what became a major humanitarian crisis. According to widespread allegations, Rabat deliberately allowed the mass crossing as political leverage against Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez after he restored relations with Algeria following a diplomatic rift.
Now, Trump, the White House, and Netanyahu's political allies have joined the pressure campaign against Sánchez over his principled stance on Palestine. Some of the strongest attacks came from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and members of her government, who have even called for Spain to face consequences within the Schengen system.
It's worth remembering, especially as so many European governments continue to shield Israel, that Sánchez has been one of the few Western leaders willing to back his rhetoric with concrete action. Spain cut diplomatic ties with Israel, joined the genocide case before the International Court of Justice, suspended military trade, barred Israeli-linked military shipments from passing through Spanish ports and airspace, banned imports from illegal Israeli settlements and ended consular services for Israeli citizens living in those settlements, among other measures.
Morocco, meanwhile, has moved in the opposite direction. It has welcomed Israeli officials accused of war crimes, expanded military and defense cooperation with Israel, hosted joint military exercises, received Israeli vessels rejected elsewhere, and signed billions of dollars' worth of defense agreements, all while Gaza remains under relentless attack and continuous genocide.
The Moroccan monarchy is hardly unique among Arab governments that have normalized relations with Israel despite overwhelming public opposition. What makes this case particularly striking, however, is the allegation that thousands of desperate Moroccans were effectively used as political pawns to pressure Spain, while Crown Prince Hassan was photographed enjoying life aboard a reported $4 million luxury yacht, an image many Moroccans see as emblematic of a ruling elite detached from the hardships facing ordinary citizens.
Cue the usual wave of regime loyalists, online propagandists and apologists rushing to defend the indefensible, the same political class that protects corruption, squanders public wealth and treats ordinary Moroccans as expendable whenever it serves the interests of those in power.
Honestly, wherever there is a human-made tragedy, just look for Israel and its allies.
