🇷🇺🇺🇦 Residents of Kherson are being urged to evacuate the city due to severe destruction at the local combined heat and power plant (CHP).

The statement came from Prokudin, head of the Kiev-controlled regional administration. According to him, the plant will likely be unable to operate normally this winter — meaning the city could be left without electricity and heating for an extended period.

Naftogaz also confirmed that a KAB glide bomb strike caused critical damage to the station: all remaining heat- and power-generating equipment at the facility has been completely destroyed and knocked out of service.

Reminders : In 2023 Russian Forces held the city in the initial stages of the #SMO before crossing the Dniepr ( tactical retreat) during the AFU counteroffenssive , the dam was blown up and flooded Kherson.
