In the wake of an apparent double murder Tuesday night in Kenosha, Facebook has faced a wave of scrutiny over posts by a self-proclaimed militia group called Kenosha Guard, which issued a “call to arms” to in advance of the protest.

Amazon has deployed a sophisticated system to monitor the online chatter of its Amazon Flex drivers, Motherboard reports. And while the company has in some cases used that data to solve problems for Flex contractors, it's also keeping tabs on private Facebook groups for discussions about hot-button topics like union organizing, strikes, and warehouse conditions.
Amazon's "Advocacy Operations Social Listening Team" has poked around Facebook groups, Subreddits, and Twitter in a bid to identify potential problems, such as drivers "planning for any strike or protest against Amazon," according to Motherboard. Polish authorities have shut down today a hacker super-group that has had its fingers in a multitude of cybercrime operations, such as ransomware attacks, malware distribution, SIM swapping, banking fraud, running fake online stores, and even making bomb threats at the behest of paying customers.
Four suspects where arrested this week, and four more are under investigation.
