I would say that he is an average-looking old man with straggly unkempt beard and wrinkly sunburnt face. His sunken cheek made his dirty nose more prominent.
Overall, he gave the appearance of being a regular homeless man with his regular outdoor clothes but is making a spectacular show of being not-regular at all by sticking out his tongue cheekily at the camera.
He gave off the vibe of a stubborn old man with a do-I-look-like-I-care attitude towards life generally, a bit of a daredevil back in his younger years and used to be getting his own way out of everything. These are the traits that I will give to him if I am to write a story about him.
I will make him my main character. Maybe a grandfather who has been shunned by his family, left all alone to fend for himself among vicious-talking neighbors, because of a small misunderstanding between them that is so trivial but ran so deep that it will be years before anyone make the first move to forgive and forget. Which will not be him.
Or I will give him the supporting character, one that is of no consequence to the storyline yet full of beans and witticisms that will deliver all the punchlines home and make him the unforgettable anti-hero(if I can be that good).

Title : Passion rediscovered
From his first appearance, it seems like even if he is old, even if he has passed his prime, still he is living his life to the fullest. The way he is protruding his tongue out, it feels he hasn’t lost his childishness. The expression of eyes and raised eyebrows seems to mock those who feel exhausted even at young ages. The leather jacket which he is wearing is also showing that he doesn’t want to live as old man do and wants to be with the new fashion. He reminds me of the character of ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ from ‘102 not out’.
In my story, I’ll give him the role of a person who wasn’t able to fulfill his aspirations while he was young due to the pressure of society and the responsibility of managing home. To make his child’s dream come true, he sacrificed his own. But now when he’s done with all the responsibilities, some old photos reminded him of his old passion of being a guitarist. He always wanted to pursue music as his career, but certain obligations stopped him from doing so.
He is a fun loving gentleman who now wants everyone to know about his music skills. He purchases a new guitar and with some old videos of his favourite band- “The Beatles”, he practices again. But this time he also records those videos and uploads them on YouTube. He has a very huge fan-following, especially in the youth of his locality. They always come there to listen to him and learn from him. He now also plans to start his own music academy.
I clicked the photo when some of his neighbours mockingly said that this old man has gone insane, to which this was his reaction.

He is like a kid. Yes he is. Like a 11 year old kid. He fought in the second world war. He was really brave. He was an American soldier. A brave American soldier. He fought tooth and nail just with a riffle. After when he returned from the army hospital, the doctor whose name was probably Marry Gliton or Marry Gomez said to his family, "Due to a deadly TBI to his pre-frontal cortex now he can't behave like adults. Rather he will behave like children. He needs care and affection. We tried giving him shock therapy but everything went down the drain as his level of gray matter cells is extremely low. You have to take care of him like a baby".
Then his family...
By the way, I forgot to tell you his name . His name is James.
Yeah, now what I was saying, his family then took him to their house. But James wasn't happy at all as his family used to consider him as a burden upon them. So they used to torment him a lot. His daughter-in-law used to rebuke him everyday. And his son crossed almost every limit. Once his son slapped James because he of opened the refrigerator without telling them to eat a piece of cheese. Though after 6 months a local newspaper reporter wrote about his torture in their article. A local NGO tried to help them but his family didn't even allow them to enter their house. After receiving a huge backlash from their neighbours his family decided to send him to a mental asylum. But after 13 months James somehow ran way from that asylum. The asylum told his family about the incident. But his family refused to do anything. Since then he can be found on this pavement of this street, begging and urging people like a child beggar to give him some food.
But sadly, considering his beard, his moustache, his uneven face, his uncombed hair, strangers really think that he is a beggar. But they real don't know about his contribution to the nation.

He was a battered man. He was an old man. He was old, battered man. His name Oliver, he had a wrinkly face that seemed to have faced joyful as well as disheartening moments, cold nights and warm summers, weddings and funerals; all that life had to offer. His white beard now grew freely and was unkempt, giving the idea of a man who no longer cared what people thought of him.
Oliver carried an air of contention around him as he went by his days. He had managed to provide for his wife and his 4 kids as best as he could. He had done most of the things he wanted in his life, and even if there were a few left, there wasn't much he could do now. Recently a troubling thought recurred to him several times, what mark he had left in this world?
Though old on the outside, his soul had withstood all the battering that life had to offer and was young as ever. Always exuding confidence everywhere he went, he was the darling of the old as well as the young. Younger adults always sought his wise counsel. He unselfishly helped where he could. In him, children found a caring man and a playmate, who always made them happy.
Everyday, the thought kept crossing his mind. His children as well as grandchildren visited and he would play with them, but the thought wouldn't leave him. What impression would they have of him?
Oliver tried his best to conceal his feelings of dissatisfaction with himself, since he could have achieved more. He masked this by focusing more on his achievements. He also sought support from his family, though indirectly. It was hard to believe that this great man – to them he was, would ever doubt himself. Each day, the voice grew to more profound and thereby silencing all his other thoughts. It troubled him so much that he started wishing that he could die soon.
Once on a warm cloudy noon, he took a walk in the pine forest around his home. Some hikers walking nearby asked to take a picture of him and he made a face with his tongue sticking out. A breath of the fresh forest air quenched his old lungs allowing him to admire the life that he had lived. Not many had the happiness he felt. At once, he knew that he had lived a good life.
