on Ukrainian forces' stronghold in the #Peski area.
During the attack on #Peski in early August, Allied forces actively used TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower systems to destroy the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The video shows spectacular footage of impacts of the TOS on the fortified areas of the Ukrainian armed forces in the multi-storey building of the village.
The "Solntsepyok" does not use high explosive fragmentation munitions, as some MLRS do, but thermobaric munitions. With the TOS, it is possible to effectively hit enemy positions in long-term firing positions and heavily fortified positions.

▪️ Reconnaissance units of the 81st Airborne Brigade have uncovered the location of Russian Forces´ strongholds through combat reconnaissance near #Drobyshevo. It looks like the enemy will make another attempt to attack allied positions in the area later tonight.
▪️ The Ukrainian Forces do not give up their attempts to storm #Lyman, but the Russian Forces manage to seize the initiative and launch a counterattack. The enemy retreated to the #Dibrova area and the banks of the Seversky Donets.

#Lyman Direction:
▪️ In the morning, Ukrainian forces tried to storm #Lyman from the south from the villages of #Dibrova and #Shchurovo, but Russian Forces managed to counterattack.
▪️ The Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to encircle #Lyman from the north-west. An Ukrainian armoured group broke through the front northwest of Lyman. The enemy motorized infantry advanced from the direction of the villages of #Rubtsy and #Lozovoye towards the second line of the Russian defence near the villages of #Redkodub and #Karpovka. The armored group was detected in time by air reconnaissance and came under heavy fire. Fighting continues in the fields between the villages of #Karpovka and #Lozovoye.
▪️ Near #Drobyshevo, fighting for the settlement continues for the third day. Despite the lack of major successes, the Ukrainian command intends to deploy more reserves to this part of the front line.
▪️ Additional AFU Forces have been moved to the #Yarovaya area, as well as several MLRS units. Soldiers of the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade have arrived near #Yampol.

The Ukrainian command is preparing for an offensive in the area south of #Ugledar and in the #Zaporozhye direction. This is necessary for the AFU to constrain the Russian reserves and prevent them from moving to the area of the main attack on #Svatovo and #Severodonetsk agglomeration.
#Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️ The AFU Dnepr Group Command plans to launch an attack on Russian positions in the #Orekhovsky and #Gulyaypole sections of the front in the coming days.
▪️ To probe the Russian Armed Forces' defence, the Ukrainian formations intend to once again conduct a reconnaissance battle near #Nesteryanka.
#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ In the #Avdeevka sector, the AFU continues to hold the advance of allied forces with massive artillery fire on the #Donetsk agglomeration.
▪️ Attempts to break through towards #Maryinka and #Peski fail and end in heavy casualties. Most reinforcements are sent in with little or no preparation.
The units of the 68th Infantry Division are put on full combat readiness before launching a counteroffensive in the #Prechistovka and #Pavlovka areas to break the defensive lines of the Allied Forces.

Contrary to weakening fronts in the #Lyman - #Kupyansk and #Nikolaev - #KrivoyRog directions, the situation near #Donetsk is improving for Russian Forces. Assault groups continue to expand the zone of control around #Peski village and #Donetsk airport.
▪️ As a result of a successful offensive, units of the 1st AC of the DPR People´s Militia managed to occupy the territory of #Pervomayskoye village in the area up to the multi-storey development and the turnoff to #Vodyanoye.
▪️ The offensive was preceded by almost a month of fierce position fighting and artillery duels. The Ukrainian Armed Forces made repeated unsuccessful attempts to counterattack DPR positions near the village of #Peski. Significant losses of personnel and equipment led to a weakening of the enemy's combat capabilities in this section of the front.
▪️ The final clearing of the village of #Pervomayskoye will make it possible to cut off the group's supply route to #Nevelskoye. The enemy's forward artillery positions are located there. In this case, the AFU will be forced to retreat from the village.

The second part of the film about the storming of the #Peski settlement by soldiers of the 11th regiment of the DPR People's Militia has been released on the Military Chronicle Channel @milchronicles. The stronghold near #Donetsk came under Russian control in August after weeks of sustained fighting.
The events were filmed from a helmet-mounted camera by war correspondent Andrei Filatov and his quadcopter. Although the video does not feature colourful tank wedge battles, it perfectly captures the realities of the fighting.
In one episode there is an attack by the 11th Regiment's assault group, during which the drone detected an AFU ambush in time. The commander gave the command to stop the advance and the enemy was hit with 120mm mortars.
The video also includes domestic moments, such as delivering water and toilet paper to forward positions. During this, the cameraman and his guide meet a group of soldiers evacuating a wounded comrade. The casualty had stepped on a "petal mine" in a place that had long been considered safe.
All the faces caught in the lens - from the armoured vehicle commander to the mature soldiers in their old SSH-68M helmets - look real. Between shooting and running they cuss and joke like ordinary people.
That is why the video captivates with its naturalness even though there are no battle scenes. As Andrey Filatov @FilatovCorr jokes himself, the videos are so lively because all his cooperation with the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defence boils down to the principle of "If they do not disturb our work, that is good enough".
This is the key difference between real military correspondents and those led by representatives of the RF Armed Forces' information agencies.

The events were filmed from a helmet-mounted camera by war correspondent Andrei Filatov and his quadcopter. Although the video does not feature colourful tank wedge battles, it perfectly captures the realities of the fighting.
In one episode there is an attack by the 11th Regiment's assault group, during which the drone detected an AFU ambush in time. The commander gave the command to stop the advance and the enemy was hit with 120mm mortars.
The video also includes domestic moments, such as delivering water and toilet paper to forward positions. During this, the cameraman and his guide meet a group of soldiers evacuating a wounded comrade. The casualty had stepped on a "petal mine" in a place that had long been considered safe.
All the faces caught in the lens - from the armoured vehicle commander to the mature soldiers in their old SSH-68M helmets - look real. Between shooting and running they cuss and joke like ordinary people.
That is why the video captivates with its naturalness even though there are no battle scenes. As Andrey Filatov @FilatovCorr jokes himself, the videos are so lively because all his cooperation with the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defence boils down to the principle of "If they do not disturb our work, that is good enough".
This is the key difference between real military correspondents and those led by representatives of the RF Armed Forces' information agencies.

▪️ Units of the Sparta Battalion and other units of the Russian Forces have occupied AFU strongholds on the #Donetsk Ring Road between #Peski and #Vodyanoye. They have cleared most of #Vodyanoye and are advancing towards #Pervomayskoye fighting.
▪️ From the village of #Spartak, units of the DPR People's Militia approached the outskirts of #Opytnoye, taking the forward positions of the AFU. The supply of the AFU forces in the settlement is difficult. Almost all roads to the settlement are occupied or under fire by Russian troops.
▪️ There are fierce battles in the western part of #Pervomayskoye and in the fields near #Nevelskoye, the enemy is trying to counterattack.
▪️ The final clearing of the villages of #Pervomayskoye and #Nevelskoye will allow the development of an offensive on #Netaylovo and #Krasnogorovka, while the advance to the north of #Vodyanoye and #Opytnoye will allow the development of an offensive on #Orlovka to encircle the fortified area of #Avdeevka. ▪️ In the #Lyman sector, Russian units of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Army launched a counteroffensive on the #Zherebets River east bank, and drove the enemy out of #Makeevka and #Novosadovoye. Russian Forces are engaged in fierce fighting with the enemy in #Terny, #Yampolovka, and #Torskoye.
▪️ In the #Lysychansk sector, the AFU went on the defence after failed attempts to storm Russian positions near #Belogorovka.
#Soledar Direction:
▪️ No significant changes on the frontline in the last 24 hours. Wagner PMC asault troops beat back enemy attacks near the asphalt plant on the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk), also fighting near #Opytnoye.
#Donetsk Direction (MAP):

In the evening hours, Russian Forces carried out a massive Geran-2 Kamikaze UAV strike on enemy targets in certain regions of Ukraine. Explosions were recorded in #Dnipropetrovsk and #Pavlograd.

DPR fighters continue to destroy identified AFU positions near #Peski. The video shows a group of Ukrainian soldiers and a pickup truck hidden in a caponier.
An AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher in tandem with a UAV operator fired a round precisely at the enemy hideout, damaging the vehicle and dispersing the personnel there.
At least one Ukrainian militant was killed as a result of the successful firing. The others were forced to retreat, leaving the body of a fellow soldier along with the damaged vehicle.
