نرگس محمدی، فعال حقوق بشر و برنده جایزه صلح نوبل، نسبت به اعدام قریبالوقوع پدرام مدنی، هشدار داد و خواستار لغو حکم اعدام او شد. او ضمن انتشار این ویدیو نوشت:
پرونده پدرام مدنی پر از ایرادات قانونی است. وکیل تسخیری روی پرونده بوده و پدرام از دسترسی به وکیل انتخابی محروم بوده است.
اخذ اعتراف اجباری تحت فشار و شکنجه در سلول انفرادی و وعده های فریبکارانه بازجویان - که آزادی در ازای اعتراف دروغ می باشد - و نهایتا صدور حکم اعدام در دادگاههای غیرمستقل و توسط قضات وابسته به حکومت بر اساس اقاریر کذب، جنایتی آشکار است.
سرهای جوانان بی گناه را بر سر دار می آویزند در حالی که می دانند، اعتراف دروغ بوده و زندانی حتی بر اساس قوانین خودشان مستحق اعدام نبست.
در مقابل ظلم و جنایت که بر سر در تک تک ما خواهد نشست، سکوت نکنیم.
از مجامع بین المللی تقاضا دارم، اقدامات جدی علیه اعدام در ایران داشته باشند.
Pedram Madani’s case is full of legal flaws. A court-appointed lawyer was assigned to his case, and Pedram was denied access to a lawyer of his own choosing.
His confession was extracted under pressure and torture in solitary confinement, accompanied by deceitful promises from interrogators — offering release in exchange for a false confession. Ultimately, his death sentence was issued by non-independent courts and government-affiliated judges based on these coerced and false statements. This is a blatant act of injustice.
They hang the heads of innocent youth while knowing full well the confessions were false and the prisoner, even under their own laws, does not deserve the death penalty.
Let us not stay silent in the face of this injustice and brutality, which could one day knock on each of our doors.
I call on international bodies to take serious action against executions in Iran.

درخواست زهرا شهباز طبری، زندانی سیاسی محکوم به اعدام، از وجدانهای بیدار جهان برای حمایت از عدالت و آزادی
زهرا شهباز طبری، زندانی سیاسی محکوم به اعدام و محبوس در زندان لاکان رشت، در پیامی به دو زبان فارسی و انگلیسی از وجدانهای بیدار جهان خواست تا از سوی مردم ایران، صدای عدالت و آزادیخواهی را بلند کنند.
او در این پیام صوتی با اشاره به صدور حکم اعدامش بهدلیل اطلاق واژهی «باغی» (بهمعنای معترض یا شورشی) گفت:
«آنها تنها بهخاطر یک کلمه مرا به مرگ محکوم کردند؛ واژهای که برایشان کافیست تا هر مخالف سیاسی یا صاحب اندیشهای مستقل را به اعدام تهدید کنند.»
شهباز طبری تأکید کرده است که تکیهگاهش نه صاحبان منافع و قدرت، بلکه مردم جهان و «هیأت منصفهی وجدان جهانی» هستند و افزود:
«برای من، این تنها مسألهی نجات یک جان نیست، بلکه نجات جان بسیاری دیگر است. هر گام کوچک برای نجات یک زندگی، میتواند آغازی بزرگ برای جنبشی در محکومیت نقض حقوق بشر باشد.»
این زندانی سیاسی در پایان پیام خود با یادآوری سخنان نیل آرمسترانگ — «این گامی کوچک برای انسان، اما جهشی بزرگ برای بشریت است» — از مردم و نهادهای بینالمللی خواست تا صدای اعتراض خود را در برابر ظلم و خشونت بلند کنند و گفت:
«لطفاً صدای خود را برای عدالت و آزادی، از جانب ما، بلند کنید.»
ـ زهرا شهباز طبری، صرفا به خاطر نگهداری یک پارچه نوشته با محتوای «زن، مقاومت، آزادی» و یک فایل صوتی ارسال نشده به هیچ جایی، به هواداری از مجاهدین خلق متهم و در دادگاهی ده دقیقهای محکوم به اعدام شده است. او مهندس بازنشسته شرکت برق منطقهای گیلان و زنی ۶۷ ساله و مادر دو فرزند است و پیشتر یک سال حبس با پابند الکترونیکی را تجربه کرده است.

Zahra Shahbaz Tabari, a political prisoner sentenced to death and currently held in Lakan Prison in Rasht, has released a message in both Persian and English, calling on the conscience of the world to raise their voices for justice and freedom on behalf of the people of Iran.
In her voice message, Shahbaz Tabari says she has been sentenced to death merely for being labeled “Baaghi” — meaning “rebel” or “dissenter.”
> “They sentenced me to death for just one word,” she said. “That one word is enough for them to condemn anyone — whether a political opponent or simply someone with an independent belief — to execution.”
Shahbaz Tabari emphasized that her reliance is not on those who profit from power and oppression but on the people of the world — “the jury of the global conscience.”
> “For me, this is not only about saving one life, but about saving many others. Every small step to save a life can become the beginning of a great movement to condemn human rights violations.”
Recalling Neil Armstrong’s historic words — “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind” — she urged people and international institutions to raise their voices against injustice and violence, adding:
> “Please, raise your voice for justice and freedom on behalf of us.”
Zahra Shahbaz Tabari has been sentenced to death solely for possessing a piece of cloth inscribed with the words “Woman, Resistance, Freedom” and for keeping an unsent voice message.
She was accused of supporting the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and condemned to death in a ten-minute trial.
Tabari is a 67-year-old retired electrical engineer from the Gilan Regional Electricity Company and a mother of two. She previously served one year under electronic monitoring.
