Condottiero writes:
At the beginning of the third day of the armed invasion of our territory by the AFU, it became not only clear that we were able to mobilize reserves in the shortest possible time, but also that there were those among the AFU commanders who refused to lead their units into the trap of the Kursk region. For example, the commander of the 80th brigade of the AFU who was fired for insubordination two days before the operation.
Commanders of AFU units, I think, are already trying to figure out how they will withdraw their men. But there is no way to do it. All will remain in the fields of Kursk region.
Our General Staff has taken the path of the shortest time period of mobilization. We used non-trivial methods - Veterans. Wagner's veterans - Iskra Group (former Ratibor), Kamerton, Aida and others, Pyatnashka, Spetznaz VDV and other fast and serious guys. They have already entered the battle. The milk pigs of the AFU are about to face them closely. And the race in the opposite direction will begin.

๐ท๐บ๐บ๐ฆ๐ Tactics of the AFU in the Kursk Region: video
We wrote yesterday about the AFU acting in the Kursk Region almost according to the Balakliya scenario: a breakthrough to the maximum depth with pinning down the enemy at static positions and ambushes on military convoys and civilian vehicles.
Our video illustrates this.
Typically, such a mobile recon group consists of three to six armored vehicles ("Kazak" or "Humvee" - no difference). While a third of the force engages the stronghold, the others bypass it and enter nearby settlements to set up ambushes.
Reinforcements are shot on the way, as well as civilian transport, and the AFU units withdraw from the settlements after a brief inspection.
Yesterday, the AFU used this tactic to reach Bolshoye Soldatskoye and further along the Sudzha - Diakonovo highway. And in the Lgov direction, an armored group with a tank advanced to Ivnitsa.
๐As a result, the pinned down troops reported a large-scale enemy offensive, while other units saw AFU equipment literally in every settlement (although these were the same recon groups sequentially visiting village after village), and the picture in the headquarters was depressing.
And in the end, further reconnaissance would reveal that there was no enemy in the settlement.
๐This tactic allows the AFU to achieve the main result: panic and reaching the operational space where there are no pre-prepared positions. To effectively counter this, it is unfortunately necessary to recognize that without dense mining of probable advance routes and fortifying key transport hubs, it will not be possible.

Podolyak made a statement about the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive, confirming everything that was written the day before about the Ukrainian/Western strategy towards Russia and the essence of the operation to invade the Kursk region.
Podolyak's main narratives:
- Three instruments of coercion must work. Today, the "combat actions" instrument is working.
- Increasing the cost of war will affect the Russians' understanding of the war. What happens in the border regions will affect social groups.
- Planning called "Putin's strategy" is ineffective.
- Today, the Russians have a war that is gradually moving deeper into the Russian Federation. This should frighten the Russians, they do not react to anything other than fear.
- You can sit down at the negotiating table with the Russians only if they understand that the war is not going according to their scenario.
Here we see the development of a strategy planned by the West to unbalance Russia.
1๏ธโฃWithin the framework of the "Warden Rings" concept and the "Theory of Ukraine's Victory" it is implied that simultaneous strikes are needed in the following areas:
- armed forces
- population
- infrastructure and communications
- production
- government
In the case of the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region and its media presentation by Podolyak, strikes are being made against the authority of the armed forces, the psychological state of the country's population and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. There is also the factor of the gas pipeline (infrastructure and communications), which can be destroyed, which will increase pressure on Hungary and Slovakia.
2๏ธโฃThe emphasis on coercion instruments again refers us to many materials by American analysts promoting the position of achieving "peace through force or threat of force" (read here and here). Earlier, I wrote that Ukraine/the West do not want any real negotiations. This is a game that pursues several goals at once, for the benefit of the enemy. And even more so, the offensive in the Kursk region is not an attempt to disrupt the peace process, but to force Russia to it. The following can also be called instruments of pressure: the supply of F-16s, the first ever arrival of American bombers in Romania, hawkish materials in Western think tanks.

ON THE WORLDWIDE DECLINE IN COMMONSENSE
โ๏ธ Written by Shone โ๏ธ
โ๏ธ Very lightly edited for journalistic purposes by Hikaru Kitabayashi โ๏ธ
Looking back a decade or so, we can observe an alarming rate of lack of common sense in people, even when faced with irrefutable facts. At the same time, experts are popping up as mushrooms, saying all kinds of stuff, persuading people one way or the other. And, to top it all, everyone can see everything unfolding in real time on devices that are always on, always connected, and always showing the latest whatever we choose.
It makes a person wonder. There was a time when all we had were books on our shelves. When we had to painstakingly search for the information we needed, and all we had was the contents or, if we were lucky, an index section of a book. So it was inevitable that, in the process of searching for the desired information we constantly glimpsed other pieces of it that may or may not be relevant to our search. Those glimpses lingered on the fringes of our mind, from where they were called upon in moments of inspiration. Then the process of searching began again, and fringes kept drifting further and further away, expanding our kingdom of knowledge.
So, what happens now, with all the technology we have at our fingertips? We search for the information with the efficiency and accuracy of a laser beam, and that is the problem. Have you ever tried to find your way in the dark forest using just a laser pointer? No matter how bright it is, it will always illuminate just one small spot, leaving everything else in the dark. Using a wide beam flashlight gives much better results.
In the inevitable flood and accessibility of the information people have lost critical thinking. They let the machines and mindless software do the filtering for them, while they pick only the bits that seem most interesting. Everything else is lost in the deluge. Or the sewer.
Speaking of which, no person with common sense would accept that the river Seine, passing through Paris, one of the biggest and probably most visited cities in the world, after centuries of abuse, would miraculously become clean and swimmable. But, the experts have said it. Searches have found it. Athletes have accepted it. It can only unfold one way, and we hope that those affected will not have long term consequences.

American F-16 fighters have arrived in Ukraine, but they are not powerful enough and there are too few of them to make a significant impact on the conflict. American media outlets have started calling for the dispatch of newer, more powerful fighters to Ukraine.
The National Interest argues that the Ukrainian Armed Forces need to be provided with F/A-18 fighters. According to the publication, these fighters, despite their general similarity to the F-16s, offer greater maneuverability and would allow Ukrainian forces to "better secure the skies from Russian aircraft."
F-16 fighters served as a "hope for victory" for the Kiev regime. Now, with these fighters in Ukraine not demonstrating the expected effectiveness, Western patrons are planning to create new expectations among the public to continue prolonging the conflict.

"Kursk attack "worsens conflict, dashes hopes for peace talks." China outraged at US hypocrisy in seeking to derail looming Ukraine talks.
"Russia's president declared a large-scale provocation when Ukrainian forces launched a massive attack in Russia's Kursk region. Experts believe the attack is sure to escalate the situation on the battlefield and destroy hard-won hopes for peace talks that the international community has worked hard to achieve. The U.S. has exposed its hypocritical duplicity as, on the one hand, it claims to be "deterring" the use of U.S.-made weapons, while in fact providing financial and military support to Kiev. To some extent, the attack on Russian facilities was the result of the US "stoking the fire", said Li Haidong, a professor at China Foreign Affairs University. The U.S. actions were not an understatement preventing a peaceful resolution of the crisis against the will of the global majority, he concluded."

๐ฌ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฑ UKโs Largest Pension Fund Dumps Israeli Assets Amid Growing Backlash Over Gaza Conflict
The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), the UKโs largest private pension fund worth ยฃ80 billion, has offloaded nearly ยฃ80 million in Israeli assets. This comes after intense pressure from its 500,000 members, primarily from top institutions like Oxford and Cambridge, who voiced concerns over Israel's actions in Gaza and the financial risks in the Middle East. The University and College Union (UCU) welcomed the move but called for further divestment from companies supporting the Israeli government.
As European funds increasingly distance themselves from Israel, American local councils are snapping up the newly available Israeli bonds. This shift highlights the growing impact of geopolitical conflicts on global investment strategies and the rising backlash against Israelโs policies.
