π―Yesterday morning, the RFAF launched a combined missile and drone strike on #Kiev for the first time in the past 73 days. Air-launched missiles from strategic bombers were used to hit the designated targets.
πΉIn the #Kursk region, heavy fighting continues over #Plekhovo and the #NovayaSorochina settlement, with the enemy using barrel artillery and numerous drones. The concentration of the enemy's efforts is evidenced by the destruction of a heavy British tank Challenger 2 by the marines of our 155 Brigade,π¬π a rather rare and difficult to operate tank. The very fact of its transfer by the AFU as a reserve to the #Kursk region speaks of the enemy's intention to hold the occupied frontiers in our region at all costs. The 'North Troops Grouping' has advanced with heavy fighting in the settlement of #Novoivanovka and in the forests near #MalayaLoknya. The enemy is throwing fresh reserves and #NATO armoured vehicles into the battle and offering fierce resistance. ATGM and Tornado-S calculations continue to work on the AFU reserve collection points in #Sumy region.

Power surges were reported in different parts of the city, but outage schedules remained 'usual' from 3 to 6 hours per day. π― The RFAF launched more than 100 Geranium UAVs at enemy rear facilities overnight, hostile channels reported. There were reports of explosions in #Kiev and the region, as well as in #Vinnitsa, #Cherkassy, #Nikolayev, #Sumy, #Zhitiomir, #Zaporozhye and #Kirovograd regions.
π‘Over our #Kaluga region, at least 8 enemy aircraft-type UAVs attacking an industrial facility in #Kaluga were shot down. By morning the fire was extinguished. 6 drones were shot down over the #Bryansk region.
πΉIn #Kursk region, the 'North Troops Grouping' continues its advance near the village of #Novoivanovka. During the assault operations a group of 5 AFU infantry was detected, 4 of them were killed in small arms combat, 1 was taken prisoner. The enemy made an unsuccessful attempt at a counterattack by an assault group of 8 men in a IFV from the area of the #Leonidovo settlement in the direction of #Novoivanovka, but was unsuccessful. π The Night turned out to be eventful. Apparently, we witnessed one of the first visible joint operations of the RFAF, not only of a combat but also of an informational nature:
π― Following the Hacking of a Ukrainian TV signal and a 'warning' about the use of the RFAF Oreshnik, separate missile strikes were carried out on Ukrainian territory against #Kremenchuk and #Pavlograd, as well as the #Kiev region.
π‘ By Counteraction, the enemy attacked a fuel and energy facility in the Yartsevsky district of the #Smolensk region, a fuel spill occurred and fuel and lubricants began to ignite. Near #Sevastopol, aerial and maritime drones were destroyed at night. At about 06:00, an UAV was destroyed in the skies above #Rostov by air defences. At night over the #Bryansk region, air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 19 aircraft-type UAVs. Yesterday afternoon in #Kursk region, #Lgov was hit by AFU missile strikes, one civilian was injured, one eight-apartment two-storey house was seriously damaged, and two power lines were damaged due to the shelling. One UAV was shot down in the skies over the #Orlov region last night.

A breakthrough of the front in this section will mean that the Russian Army will try to cut the important road between #Pokrovsk and #Konstantinovka. In addition, simultaneous strikes in several tactical directions are designed to shackle the enemy's forces in battle and deprive him of the possibility of manoeuvre along the rockade roads.
