سرمایه گذاری خارجی در ایران به پایین ترین سطح خود در ۱۷ سال گذشته رسیده است. با توجه به موقعیت استراتژیک ایران، جمعیت تحصیل کرده و پتانسیل بالای آن برای جذب سرمایه گذاری خارجی به ویژه در زمینه انرژی و گردشگری، این کشور یک بازار بکر برای سرمایه گذاری های خارجی است. هرچند به دلیل عدم کفایت رژیم و ناسازگاری قوانین رژیم اسلامی با قوانین بین المللی، این فرصت از اقتصاد ایران گرفته شده تا شکوفا شود.

بر اساس آماربرداری سالانه مرکز آمار، نشر و آثار مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ایران طی بازه زمانی ۱ ژانویه ۲۰۲۴ تا ۲۰ دسامبر ۲۰۲۴، دستکم ۹۳۰ زندانی شامل ۵ کودک-مجرم در زندان های ایران اعدام شدند.
این رقم در مقایسه با زمان مشابه در سال گذشته، حدود ۲۴.۶% افزایش داشته است. از این میزان حکم ۴ نفر در ملاعام به اجرا درآمد. همچنین در این مدت، ۲۱۴ تن دیگر به اعدام محکوم شدند.
لازم به ذکر است، در همین دوره احکام بدوی ۵۴ نفر دیگر نیز به تایید دیوان عالی کشور رسیده است.
