There has been an alarming surge in executions conducted by the Islamic Republic, with a doubling of average monthly executions this year compared to six years ago. The Islamic Republic has ramped up executions, especially following the killing of Mahsa Jina Amini by the morality police.
These executions disproportionately target ethnic groups, such as Balouchs and Kurds, while the Islamic Republic also holds the dishonour of being the world's top executioner of women and children.
Execution sentences are often given following mock trials and forced confessions, and executions are often carried out without prior notice.

حکم اعدام برای یاسین قاسمی؛ نوجوان ۱۷ ساله و نانآور خانواده در صف چوبهدار ماشین کشتار ولایت فقیه
یاسین قاسمی، نوجوان ۱۷ ساله اهل اصفهان که پس از بازداشت در جریان انقلاب ملی مردم ایران در سال ۱۴۰۴ زندانی شده، با حکم اعدام روبهروست. او پدرش را از دست داده و نانآور خانواده بوده؛ اما اکنون جانش در خطر است.
صدور احکام اعدام برای نوجوانان و جوانان معترض در خیزش ملی ۱۴۰۴، ابعاد سرکوب و قتل سازمانیافته رژیم ولایت فقیه علیه شهروندان ایران را آشکارتر میکند.
