Ukrainian drones caused chaos in Finland

400 bus routes were cancelled, and medical and social workers did not report to work according to Yle.

Due to the threat of a #UAV crash, the Finns scrambled fighter jets, but no drones were detected in the airspace.

Helsinki Airport operations were suspended for three hours, with evening flight delays possible

"From 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., drivers remained at home in accordance with instructions. Due to the disruptions in transportation, some medical and social workers were late or did not report to work," media reports said.
The Finnish Ministry of Defense did not disclose the source of the airspace violation due to confidentiality.

The head of the #Finland command noted the high threat of heavy drones, and President Stubb stated on TV: "War has come very close to us."

As a reminder, Ukrainian Armed Forces drones have previously flown into Finland, Lithuania, and Estonia; in Latvia, the PM and defense minister resigned following the incidents.

▪️The author was Ika Ningtyas, a “fact-check coordinator” at Soros Open Society-funded Tempo in Indonesia. Ika Ningtyas has also worked for or coordinated with US government organizations like Voice of America, NED-funded organizations like Remotivi, as well as US and European government-funded organizations like Aliansi Jurnalis Independen;

▪️This represents an effort to attack people exposing the danger of US interference abroad and an attempt to protect opposition groups the US is funding and backing in targeted nations;

▪️The ability of the US to reach into a targeted nation’s political and information space represents a danger equal or greater than the threat of US military aggression - allowing the US to undermine and even overthrow governments without the US military firing a single shot;

▪️The vast networks the US builds up over years to achieve this eventually reach critical mass and by the time the targeted nation realizes something must be done, it is too late - making it important to expose this problem and address sooner rather than later;

The FBI Washington Field Office today announced that the FBI is offering a $200,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension and prosecution of Monica Witt, a former U.S. service member and counterintelligence agent who was indicted by a federal grand jury in the District of Columbia in February 2019 on charges of espionage, including transmitting national defense information to the government of Iran.

Witt, a former active-duty U.S. Air Force intelligence specialist and special agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, served in the military between 1997 and 2008 before working as a U.S. government contractor until 2010. Her military service and contracting employment provided her access to SECRET and TOP SECRET information relating to foreign intelligence and counterintelligence, including the true names of U.S. Intelligence Community undercover personnel.

In 2013, Witt defected to Iran. According to the indictment, she subsequently provided information to the government of Iran, placing at risk sensitive and classified U.S. national defense information and programs. Witt allegedly intentionally provided information endangering U.S personnel and their families stationed abroad. She also allegedly conducted research on behalf of the Iranian regime to allow them to target her former colleagues in the U.S. government.

Witt’s defection to Iran has benefitted the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which has elements responsible for intelligence collection, unconventional warfare, and providing direct support to multiple terrorist organizations targeting U.S. citizens and interests.

While Witt has been indicted for her alleged crimes, she remains at large. The FBI continues to actively work to locate Witt and bring her to justice.
“Monica Witt allegedly betrayed her oath to the Constitution more than a decade ago by defecting to Iran and providing the Iranian regime National Defense Information and likely continues to support their nefarious activities,” said Daniel Wierzbicki, special agent in charge of the FBI Washington Field Office’s Counterintelligence and Cyber Division. “The FBI has not forgotten and believes that during this critical moment in Iran’s history, there is someone who knows something about her whereabouts. The FBI wants to hear from you so you can help us apprehend Witt and bring her to justice.”

🚨 On the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club reports that the occupation has utilized abductions and imprisonment as a systematic tool of colonial control and oppression against the Palestinian people.

Since the onset of the genocide, the occupation has arrested more than 23,000 Palestinians from the West Bank, excluding thousands abducted from Gaza who remain subject to forced disappearance.

The current phase is identified as the deadliest in the history of the prisoner movement:

• At least 89 prisoners have been martyred in occupation prisons since the genocide began, victims of systematic torture, starvation, and medical neglect.
• There are currently over 9,400 Palestinians held in occupation prisons, including 86 women.
• Among the detainees, 3,376 are held under administrative detention, and 1,283 are classified as "unlawful combatants."

The occupation continues to enforce a policy of isolation and brutalization, attempting to break the will of the prisoner movement, which remains a central pillar of the Palestinian struggle for liberation.
