๐ต๐ธ The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine ( DFLP) 1969-present | Palquest
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (#DFLP) was founded in February 1969 when members within the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (#PFLP) decided to secede from the organization and to form a separate group. Intellectual and political differences had begun to appear within the PFLP just a few weeks after its first general congress was held in August 1968.
Throughout the DFLP's history, its fighters have carried out high-level operations deep inside occupied Palestine launched from โanchor pointsโ that were established in #Jordan, the #GolanHeights , and Southern #Lebanon . They also fought in battles to defend the Palestinian #resistance in #Jordan, during the Lebanese Civil War and the Israeli Invasion of Lebanon in 1982, and in the โWar of the Camps โ in Lebanon and to repel the Israeli military attacks on the #Gaza Strip.

๐ธ๐พ ๐ต๐ธ How Syria's HTS is quietly dismantling the Palestinian cause | The Cradle
The day after #HTS forces entered #Damascus, they launched a wave of closures targeting Palestinian faction offices. Those belonging to #Fatah al-Intifada, the #Baath-aligned Al-Sa'iqa movement, and the #PFLP-GC were shuttered, with their weapons, vehicles, and real estate seized.
The #DFLP, which had maintained a lower profile during the Syrian war, was allowed to continue operating though under observation.
in December, several faction leaders convened at the Palestinian embassy ,they attempted to arrange a formal meeting with Sharaa via Syriaโs FM. Instead, a messenger from HTS arrived and demanded full disclosure of all faction-owned assets, including real estate, bank deposits, vehicles, and weapons. No political engagement would be possible until a comprehensive inventory had been submitted.
