Footage shows a Lebanese journalist lying injured on the street after being caught in Israeli shelling near the town of Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon.

The attacks come after the announcement of a Pakistan-mediated agreement between the US and Iran and despite an ongoing ceasefire in Lebanon that has been in effect since April 17.
🇬🇧Starmer's Under-16 Social Media Ban Masks UK Surveillance | Reclaim The Net

Here is a fun fact to keep in your back pocket the next time a politician appears on the morning TV sofas to explain that the government’s new face-scanning and digital ID regime is really, deep down, about protecting your children.

UK Prime Minister Keir #Starmer, spent the first half of his career as a human rights lawyer and the second half running the Crown Prosecution Service.

He has argued for the individual against the state and he has aimed the full weight of the state at the individual. He has, in other words, seen this particular movie from both seats.

So when he tells you he has stumbled, blinking and innocent, into the most comprehensive surveillance apparatus in British peacetime history, do not extend him the courtesy of believing it.

He spent twenty years learning precisely what these powers do to a person. He is not building this in his sleep.

Lebanon files UN complaint accusing Israel of using toxic chemicals in 'scorched earth' campaign

Beirut also filed a complaint over Israel's killing of two Lebanese army officers and a soldier in south Lebanon earlier this month
Israel’s chemical spraying of farmland in Lebanon and Syria amounts to war crime, targets civilian survival | EuroMedHR Monitor

Beirut – The Israeli army’s spraying of chemical substances over vast agricultural areas in southern Lebanon and Syria is deeply alarming.

The deliberate targeting of civilian #farmland violates international humanitarian law, particularly the prohibition on attacking or destroying objects indispensable to civilian survival. Large-scale destruction of private property without specific military necessity amounts to a war crime and undermines #food security and basic livelihoods in the affected areas.

Gene Edited Crops: The WEF’s Back Door Agenda

There is a coordinated push happening right now to replace traditional food with gene-edited, synthetic crops. At first it looks like normal business and innovation, but when you look closer you see something very different.

In this video Christian breaks down an admission from Corteva Catalyst’s Senior Director Mathias Müller. He openly explained how Big Ag plans to let small startups do the risky legwork on gene-edited crops so the big companies don’t have to take the heat, the liability, or the bad press if (when) things go wrong.

I also look at the real-world example he gave -- Pairwise -- and show how this pattern is repeating across multiple Corteva-backed companies. Former Monsanto and Syngenta executives are leading many of these “startups.”

This isn’t organic market progress, but rather a deliberate strategy to centralize control over our food supply while pushing the risks onto others.

Grow your own, my friends . . .

⛔️ The UK government wants to ban social media for children under 16.

But banning social media for kids only puts them in greater danger.

They will be pushed to use VPNs — and unlock far worse illegal content.

We’ve seen this before.

When the Russian government banned Telegram, 95% of Russian teenagers kept using it. They just moved to VPNs. Same in Iran.

Parents already have the tools to restrict their kids’ digital habits: parental controls, screen-time limits — or no smartphone at all.

🤦‍♂️ Instead, many parents give toddlers iPads just to keep them quiet.

No amount of government regulation will fix that.

Under the new law, all social media users in the UK will have to “prove” they’re over 16 — with an ID, face scan or bank card.

🚨 Thousands in the UK are already arrested for political posts every year.

Is this really about protecting children — or identifying more people to arrest?

P. S. More about digital freedom in my speech — the source material for our $200,000 clipping contest.

May was the deadliest month of the year so far in terms of civilian casualties, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

According to the ministry, Ukrainian forces carried out more than 17,000 attacks on civilian infrastructure during the month. As a result, over 1,000 civilians were affected, with more than 150 killed, including eight children.

In the first week of June alone, at least 300 more people were reported injured and 43 killed.

The Russian Foreign Ministry linked the rise in civilian casualties to increased Western supplies of strike drones to what it described as the Kyiv regime.

🇵🇸 A long and precarious journey to play soccer | The Electronic Intifada

Yousef Jubran, 12, has had a unique passion for soccer since he was very young.
Every day, he spends hours playing football. He rarely lets the ball leave his feet. When he walks from one room to another, he often dribbles the ball with him.

He is a member of a club, and trains four times a week. He keeps a notebook of soccer moves, best shots and tactics. His wardrobe is full of football jerseys, and his room’s walls are covered with pictures of his favorite team, Spain’s Real Madrid, and his favorite player, Cristiano Ronaldo.

I know all this because Yousef is my son. We spend nights talking about all this.
But nothing is straightforward, even for a football-crazy boy, when you live under military #occupation.
