EU might ‘end’ Hungary’s presidency – Politico
The European Union could revoke Hungary’s presidency of the bloc over Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s trip to Moscow, Politico EU has reported, citing diplomatic sources.
Orban went to Ukraine last week, upon assuming the European Council presidency and vowing to “Make Europe great again.” He then went to Russia, triggering howls of outrage in Kiev and Brussels alike.
“Member states were already irritated by the ‘MEGA’ motto. But a meeting with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin will permanently overshadow the Hungarian presidency,” Politico reported on Monday evening, citing an unnamed EU diplomat. “With such a meeting the presidency ends before it has really begun.”

🇭🇺🇺🇦 Viktor Orban has released an open letter to #Zelensky, sharply criticizing #Kiev’s actions.
Orban says Zelensky has refused for four years to accept Hungary’s sovereign position on the Russia–Ukraine war and has tried to drag Hungary into the conflict with Brussels’ backing and the support of the Hungarian opposition. He accuses Kiev, Brussels, and Hungary’s opposition of coordinating efforts to install a pro-Ukraine government in Budapest.
#Orban also states that Ukraine has shut down the Druzhba oil pipeline, a key route for Hungary’s energy supply, putting Hungarian families at risk of higher costs and insecurity.
We Hungarians are not responsible for #Ukraine’s situation. We sympathize with the Ukrainian people, but we do not want to take part in the war. We do not want to finance the fighting or pay more for energy.
I call on you to immediately reopen the #Druzhba oil #pipeline and refrain from further attacks on Hungary’s energy security.
Show more respect for #Hungary.”

🇺🇦🇭🇺 Orban says Ukrainians are “already threatening” his family.
“Ukrainians are already threatening my family, children, and grandchildren. Everything is fine, but everything has its limit!” he wrote on Facebook.
⚠️ Previously, #Zelensky threatened to give #Orban’s phone number to the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to a video posted on a YouTube page called Pryamy TV, Ukrainian politician Hrihorij Omelcsenko, a former member of parliament and former officer of the Ukrainian Security Service, threatened Viktor Orbán and his family:
said Omelchenko, adding: "The elections will be held on April 12. I hope the opposition wins."

We know where he lives, where he spends the night, where he drinks beer and wine, where he goes out, who he meets, and so on. Therefore, if Orbán does not change his anti-Ukrainian stance towards Ukraine and continues to be an accomplice to Putin's war crimes, he should remember that KARMA never forgives anyone's sins. You cannot escape KARMA, you cannot hide from it, and you cannot buy your way out of it with billions. Think about your five children and six grandchildren, Orbán!
