Having completely failed in Iran, the United States, under Trump, decided to make up for it in Russia. That is, to play the same scheme that has been written and talked about many times – to achieve Russia's capitulation on Trump's terms.
And Trump's terms are as follows: Russia becomes a proxy of the United States against China, just as Ukraine was a proxy of the United States against Russia. In other words, complete capitulation, and in return, the United States will promise (I emphasize - promise) not to impose crippling sanctions from the so-called "Graham package." Well, and they will promise something else, again only promise - not to provide Ukraine with intelligence data and so on, and so forth. Of course, no one will fulfill anything.
However, even if the United States were to seriously want to fulfill their promises, they would not be able to do so, because several forces are at play in Ukraine, including the United Kingdom, which will naturally find a way to sabotage these agreements.
Therefore, if our valiant leaders agree again to "stick their wet, cold nose into the outstretched hand of partners," they will be led to the Land of Fools again. Where we will once again waste a huge number of lives with no result, or rather, with a negative result.
I'm not even talking about how China will react to this, and how our army will react, which has a "brilliant prospect" of sitting under one-sided fire from "partners" for some time, without the right to respond.

For nearly eight years, around 31 tonnes of Venezuelan gold, worth roughly $4 billion, have been locked in the Bank of England's vaults, beyond the country's reach. The UK refused to release it, because Maduro's government wasn't "legitimate" enough.
Now, after US-brokered talks, Venezuela's government and opposition have reached a rare agreement: they will jointly seek access to the gold to rebuild homes, hospitals and schools after June's devastating earthquakes, which killed more than 6,500 people.
But there is a catch. The funds would be placed in US Treasury-controlled accounts. Any use of the money would require approval from both the Treasury and State Departments.
The arrangement could ultimately place Venezuela's gold under the control of "Donald Trump, his family and cronies". said a veteran British politician and vocal critic of US foreign policy George Galloway.
While the US insists it is facilitating reconstruction, Venezuelan gold reserves are being funnelled through American accounts, with US officials deciding how they are spent.
